Not too shabby

Pros: Bar and pool
Cons: Smell
Location: Great only 10 min walk from south beach
Well on arrival staff was really friendly. Upon exiting the elevator on our floor, there was a stale sort of smell in the hallways. Entering the room looked really nice, a lot of white so there stains in the room were noticeable. The bar/pool were amazing though. Alcoholic drinks were great, but a lady next to us bought a bottle of water for $9?? There was free water also right next to the pool but any who. The bed was nice and comfy but overall it was a good stay.

Well worth a stay in South Beach
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: The suites are very nice and best prices suite I've stayed in US
Cons: Wifi and room service
Location: Ideal if you want to stay away from busy South Beach and tourist areas
The hotel is in an ideal position for couples who do not want to stay in the busy part of South Beach. Positives - Good quality hotel Good suites Good staff in general Good food and decent room service Pool area worth chilling out by You have whole foods and a great cheap restaurant Oliver's right on your door stop Slight negatives - Overly persistent room service (8am knock) Wifi is $15 per day and constantly disconnects Check your bill, had items added when didn't use and do not exist

best hotel to enjoy south beach without staying at
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: the view overlooking the intracoastal!
Cons: malfunctioning toilet
Location: great! easyto move around
we stayed at the mondrian over memorial day weekend. it was was a good thing we did as collins avenue, ocean drive were closed to vehicular traffic. the staff were particularly helpful and after reporting a faulty toilet, we were upgraded to a suite! the breakfast was a bit pricey though, but thoroughly enjoyable. will definitely return!

Trendy
Posted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: Room, decor
Cons: Other strange guests, corridor smelt like weed
Location: Great! Easy to walk to restaurants, quieter than south beach
A very trendy and unique hotel in a good location in the city. Sadly, we were there at the time of an urban festival and there were some very strange characters in the hotel. Was a bit weird. Staff friendly, but expect tips for everything, even getting you a pool towel! But maybe that is just American culture?

V trendy but bring your credit card!

Pros: Pool is great
Cons: Charging $20 a head for a shower at the gym!
Very trendy hotel - don't look too closely at the finish as its not quite the luxury you may expect. Stayed on the penthouse floor in a suite which was nice but I'm sure all the rooms are. Staff were great - way more attentive than at the sister hotel The Shore Club - particularly Ariel on reception. Only down side is that you have to pay extra for EVERYTHING! Wifi is $16 a day (unusual as the sister hotel has it free as in most other hotels in the area) - we checked out at midday but weren't on a flight until 9pm so asked if there was somewhere we could change and shower - we were told it was $20 a head to use the shower at the gym - after spending hundreds on a suite I was less than impressed with this! Even a cocktail in a plastic beaker at the pool was $20 with service and tax! If you want to hang out with the trendy crowd this is the place to be but bring your credit card!!

Pros: Pool
Cons: Noisy people in neighbouring rooms
Location: Awesome. 10 min from Ocean Drive/Beach and right across from Whole Foods and other restaurants...
I spent 5 nights there and I have zero complaints! Very friendly staff. The highlight is definitely the area. I've stayed at other South Beach hotels and when they say pool they might as well have a turtle pool cause they are so tiny but this one has pretty big pool with a big lounge area. They have very friendly pool staff who will bring towels and get you snacks or refreshments from the bar. It is a great location. Only about a 10 min walk from the beach and Whole Foods is right across the street to get groceries etc. I was also impressed with the exercise facilities...again most places I've stayed in the area have a treadmill and that's about it. This has a whole room of various free weights and machines. Highly recommended place to stay in South Beach.

The staff is great. We really enjoyed this hotel. Its perfect for couples. Don't bring kids here the pool area is topless. The rooms are so different and really nice. We had a kitchenette in our room which we actually used quite a bit.

Amazing hotel, amazing rooms and gorgeous view from balcony. Hotel staff were great, location is great. Pool has dj on a sat and sundays and has good atmosphere. Ate room service and bar food and that was reasonably priced and tasty Would definitely recommend this hotel and would like to stay again.
