“Hotel Pelican in South Beach (Miami Beach)”

Great location / nice room design / friendly and helpful staff / good Italian food. I would go there again if I were to stay in Miami Beach again in the future.

“Best stay in South Beach!”

I was a little skeptical of staying on this property, not all of the art deco hotels are well kept... The Pelican exceeded my expectations and I do plan on staying there again! :) My first stay on South Beach and I was more than pleased with their complimentary perks! I heard they keep the room clean and have a very nice staff and it's true! We came in one afternoon to a clean room and showered from the beach and headed back out for some shopping. When we returned, our room had been cleaned again, and more fresh towels were given for the next day! Bravo! It's all the little thing you don't want to think about while vacationing that the staff at the Pelican took care of effortlessly. Very turned on by the location, atmosphere, staff, decor, and value. Will recommend to everyone I know and my friend and I are already planning our next trips to stay on this property! :)

“BEST ON OCEAN DR!!!!”

Amazing Hotel, Food, Staff, Location! Its hard to find a CLEAN hotel right there on Ocean Drive in the middle of South Beach that is so reasonably priced!! We stayed in Viva Las Vegas and loved it!!! Only complaint was no clocks... but hello Vegas no clocks in the casino!! Cant wait to stay again!!!!

We loved our visit. The location is great, the room was fun, clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar are a great asset. Decent food at reasonable prices. The daily happy hour is a steal, as is the breakfast menu. And the restaurant staff are phenomenal. The Brazilian manager (didn't get his name) runs a tight ship. Lots of staff, very attentive, fast service, but with great smiles and attitudes. Felt like home.

Staff n service was unbelievable. Free happy hr for guests was amazing n the food n prices during happy hr cannot be beat. The whole environment provided gave us a perfect relaxing vacation

Stayed there 21st to 24th Sep 2012, staff very friendly and efficient, room clean and housekeeping always did a good job. Free drinks for guests from 4pm to 6pm so very sociable. Great location lots of restaurants and bars around. Room was located at the rear of the hotel so no noise from outside, not a hotel for everyone but will definitely stay there again in the future.

“Wonderful Stay”

My stay at the Pelican was very enjoyable. We arrived early and although our room was not ready, the hotel informed us when it was ready and offered to hold our luggage while we elpored the area. The Pelican Beach area was wonderful, after going on our last day (after checkout) I wish I had gone my entire 4 day stay. They had oversized chairs with cushions...lovely. The only thing is..when you go, expect a lot of traffic as sometimes it's like a club walking to the elevators. But I loved it!!
