Location is perfect except....

Posted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: The location, the staff were also nice and the hotel was fairly clean
Cons: Install an elevator (My god that was difficult to lug your heavy bags up 3 floors) Install land lines in rooms Spray for cockroaches
Location: Location was ideal. Near by.....Well it's SoBe so get out there and people gaze, shop, dine and party if you want to. Not a business atmosphere.
The location was ideal for South Beach. However, the hotel does not have: - Phone in rooms - Elevator (its tough if you're on the 2nd or 3rd floors) - Proper baggage storage facilities. - If you're driving, its difficult. Noticed lately on South Beach that the hotels have taken over 1, 2 or 3 spots in front of their hotels to unloading and loading only. So its best to look for parking in the next block away from the beach. Also, The safes in the rooms are difficult to operate. Need to get use to them. We noticed 2 cockroaches in the room the night we stayed there, so we took our bags off the floor. Don't want to bring that back home. The rooms otherwise, looka dn smelled cleaned and had ample conveniences (e.g. fridge, microwave, table and chairs, storage, iron and board, AC, etc.) But we thought it was still weird not to have phones. I could not use my calling card. -

This is a European Hotel model

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Bigger rooms, bigger bathrooms, breakfast closes at 9:55 AM
Location: Beach, Ocean Drive, A1A in the heart of South Beach
The rooms are small and the breakfast you are forced to pay for is not that much, but a great location to the beach and restaurants!

stay away from this hotel

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: one nice front desk attendant and location
Cons: EVERYTHING especially staff attitude except for the one nice person.
Location: in the heart of South Beach
had a terrible experience due to being awakened every night and early morning by garbage and delivery tracks in the back alley. Worse of all were the drunks shouting to 2am and the staff refusing to do anything about it. Finally I called the Police and it stopped. Turned out the general manager know about the problem when I complained in the morning but never told the night staff who insisted it was noise of a nearly restaurant. Also there during a cold spell and the air conditioner / heater made so much noise I couldn't sleep. Preferred to be cold. No extra blankets available. Small rooms OK. Hallways and front need renovation. Last two days bed was made but bathrooms not cleaned. A HORRIBLE PLACE- stay away

Bon rapport qualité/prix , très bien situé !

Posted Feb 23, 2015

don't stay here

Posted Feb 22, 2015
we were sent to another bldg 2 blocks Away. valet was not offered and told to park in a garage. instructions on seperate location not clear and we had to walk behind a gelato business to get to the apartment. walk in there is security equipment in a dusty unfinished foryer. the room was done in ikea white but still looked like they threw it together. we stayed in apt 9, directly above the gelato shop that played loud music until 12 at night. our bathroom was not renovated and the tile and shower was grey and pink from the 70's. the room had an ac/heating unit but couldn't keep up with the 40 degree weather that night. combined with a broken window and heat not able to compete the room was freezing! I called to the front desk and was told "Martin" would come down to fix the window and bring blankets if he could find them. I called back after 30 min and again was told he would stop by. I waited another 45 minutes and fell asleep. they should not put people in this room. it has construction going on and things that need to be fixed. I caed to the manager but when he did finally call back just said he was would take constructive criticism. the continental breakfast is a joke. the manager didn't seem shocked by what I told him and didn't care that I spent the night in a freezing room

Great location and great price!

The hotel is in need of updating, but it's still in good condition. The rooms have everything you need: bed, lights, fridge, microwave, AC unit, fan, and bathroom. The bathroom was outdated, but everything worked. The water was hot, the water pressure was strong, the toilet flushes. The breakfast includes coffee, fruit, and pastries. If you're looking for an inexpensive, comfortable, clean place to stay very close to the beach, you've found it.

very dissapointed!

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: closeness to miami convention center
Cons: elevator needed, bell man needed 24 hours to help people with luggage, there should be phones in the room.
Location: close to ocean drive
i booked this hotel for my father who is close to 72 so he could see the boat show. first of all, NO elevators! terrible so he had to carry his bag up 3 flights of stairs. NO hot water in the room on the first day so he had to take a cold shower. there are no phones in the room as well. the hotel is run down and the only plus was the proximity to the boat show at the miami convention center. upon checkout there was a billing problem and they charged the wrong card the deposit. i will not have anyone in my family stay here again.

South Beach needs an accommodation make over....

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The location is great! 1 block from the beach and proximity to all the dining, shops, and entertainment.
Cons: Rooms are very small and walls are paper thin. Not ideal for those that require a quiet sleeping environment. Comp ice and water would be nice.
Location: Great location and plenty to do.
Had a nice stay at the Princess Ann Hotel. Love the front porch for sitting and enjoying all the interesting people walking by . It is an older building with recent updates to the rooms but as appears in South Beach all things are pretty old and are in need of a "make over".

Nice Hotel, in the heart of South Beach.

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: I liked the location the best. In the heart of South Beach, one block form the beach.
Location: Beach is one block away, restaurants and museums are one to three blocks away, shopping is two blocks away. It is a great location
I stayed here for four days and it was a great choice. The room was a little small but that is very typical of the hotels in South Beach. That being said, it had everything that I needed for a getaway with my significant other. We had a great time and were not disappointed in our room at all. it was very clean, but you could tell that bleach was their primary cleaner. Simple decorations but looked nice and the bathroom was very clean.

Good location near beach adjacent to nice cafe. Older bldg no amenities, no hot H2O on 1st night. Free wifi/ cable. Rooms updated but not the hallways. Paper thin doors and walls. Get what you pay for I guess.
