Excellent location

Pros: location, location, location and, breakfast was very decent
Cons: Customer Service at the Reception Area, especially! And would be better to have check in time at least 3pm instead of 4pm that they presently have
pleasant stay was spoiled by disappearance of some of our personal items while our luggage was at the concierge station storage room

Pros: We liked that the hotel is centrally located, and also right on the beach. Walk out the pool area, and you are on the beach.
Cons: We did not care for the parking/resort fees.
Location: Near many nice restaurants: Flanigan's, Tony Romas, Jaxson's... Centrally located 35 minutes away from the flea market.
The room had a nice balcony, and an excellent view of the ocean. The hotel is centrally located to the area we like, so we stayed there. We liked the free breakfast, and free WiFi, but did not care for the resort fees, and parking fees (truthfully, most hotels will charge for parking/resort fees). The hotel is about 70 years old, but has been thru renovations/updates over the years, and the hotel seemed a good value for the money. My wife and I will stay there again.

Affordable hotel right on beach

Easy check in, excellent cleaning staff, beautiful pool and easy beach access. We stayed a week and wished it could be a month! Choosing a hotel online is risky but i was most impressed with how accurate their pictures were to the real thing! Routine maintenance on building caused water to be off for 4 hrs but we were sufficiently notified. Breakfast buffet was convenient and pizza parlor in building was excellent. We had updated room with kitchenette and cleaning staff even did the dishes...can't ask for much more on vacation! Our family of 4 were very comfortable in room and look forward to returning!

The staff and valet staff were outstanding. The maintenance staff were prompt to fix a small problem in our room. Very friendly and clean hotel. The breakfast is free to guests. Pool and deck are large and spacious with a comfortable pool side bar. The hotel needs some tender loving care. Such as, the hair dryer barely hung on the wall. It is somewhat dated but the wonderful efficient staff and location definitely outweigh the needed updates. Walk directly onto the beach....heavenly area.

Spring Break for Adults!

Pros: the pool and beach were awesome. We had a kitchenette which was nice.
Cons: The hotel smells a little musty.. They could definitely improve the efficiency of valet.
Location: easy to get into Miami or to Ft. Lauderdale. Close to shopping and some great restaurants. Eat at Timo's! Some of the best Italian food ever!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Marco Polo, The pool and beach were excellent. The breakfast was only fair. Had to order eggs off the menu for an additional charge. The staff was generally friendly and efficient however it was always a 20-25 minute wait to get our car from valet.

Hotel Nightmare!

Pros: Once we actually got a room here, the hotel was perfectly adequate.
Cons: The system that allows overbooking.
I booked my stay at least 2 months in advance. Imagine my shock to arrive at the hotel only to be told they were overbooked and had no room for us. They sent us by cab to another hotel (NOT another Ramada, mind you) 30 minutes away in South Beach. The hotel they sent us to was literally the dirtiest, sketchiest hotel I have ever stepped foot in. When we arrived back at the Ramada Marco Polo the next day for what should have been the second night of our reservation, our room was STILL not ready. The staff was somewhat apologetic, but really did not go above and beyond to make us feel adequately compensated for their mistake. I will not be staying at a Ramada again. Stay away from this place!
