The pictures are very mis leading.. The double room is a lot bigger the single rooms are very very small. It's very expensive. The food my friend got had hair in it. There room was not clean. I left some stuff in the room and called not even 10 mins after I checked out and they lied and said no one found it.. You pay what for what you get.. I wouldn't stay here again if I came to visit again.. The lady I in counter in registeration was very very nice. That was about the only great thing

Small boutique hotel with style & elegance.

I wasn't sure of what to make of the entrance when I pulled up, but was pleasantly surprised once I entered the property. The decor & color scheme was not only sheek, but eloquent. The staff was wonderful, polite, & bent over backwards to be helpful. Red & staff made Miami a most pleasant experience and we hope to visit again.

The hotel is average and the lack of parking is irritating. You drive around and around and no where to park.

The Good and the Not So Good

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Pool area very nice. Walking distance to the beach.
Cons: Construction zone finished.
Red Hotel is pretty close to Miami beach, which is good, but it's also immediately surrounded by city streets and building construction, so you have to walk past that and listen to that noise. Our problem was that we arrived early and they were not flexible at all regarding early check in, and we couldn't go to the beach until we checked in, and there wasn't much else nearby to do, so we had to wait in the lobby for a very long time. The staff did not try to accommodate us in any way until it was officially check in time, then were pleasant. The little lobby, the restaurant bar and pool area are very nice. They offer a free drink upon check in. The room was pretty and tiny. They provide pool chairs and towels for the beach, which is convenient. We had a room overlooking construction zone of a nearby building. Overall we enjoyed the beach and pool but we were glad to go on to the next part of our trip somewhere else.

Great stay!

Loved our room, wished the towels were softer and a full length mirror was much needed in our room but overall great stay and friendly staff. Antoine was a great bartender and the ladies at the front desk were really friendly.

Something Missing

I really liked the look of this hotel online. It was a small hotel and we did get some nice photos of the red decor. But if your accustomed to nicer hotels you will feel the difference. At check-in I did not feel particularly welcome. The shower water was hard to regulate. Stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking pool and red light was visible in room as we slept. This really bothered my husband. If busy, the 2 elevators can be a painful wait...stairs were not an option as they do not go into lobby but rather an Emergency Exit. We requested help with luggage @ checkout but they never came to help. Valet parking took 10 min per car-so if you were 4th in line it could be a 40 min wait! Had a breakfast charged to our room from another guest(they removed charges) but glad I noticed. So you see it was just ok. We would stay someplace else next trip to Miami.

It was an awesome experience, I just hoped they had a public microwave to heat up food. Bc it was really inconvenient going to the front desk and ask.

Pros: The bartender at the restuarant Leo was fantastic!
Cons: not returning...
not at all what is advsertised...the room was horrible. day 1, the a/c did not work. there were no batteries in the therostat. had to wait for someone to come and fix it. the cable tv did not work...it had snow on the screen as if they were stealing cable. no channels were clear at all. the maint person who spoke no English said that was all he could do. We had to ask for towels 3 times in one day. The sheets were not changed everyday. the room was very smelly, stuffy and muggy. Very cheap, not at all what the pics show.

Had a small wait to check in but the follow up experience was awesome! Pleasant staff go over and beyond... Though they sometimes have a little too much to handle (peak hours) Well worth the money
