Older hotel-extremely clean & comfortable

Posted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and courteousness of staff!
Cons: Visibility of signage
Location: Good location and within a short driving distance to restaurants
First time at this hotel. Chose this hotel for price and distance to Port of Miami. Staff was personable and pleasant on the phone as well as in person when registering and checking out. Older hotel so did not expect it to be 5 Star. The cleanliness of the room was important and that was not a disappointment. If you are looking for luxury-choose another hotel. If you are looking for value for a place to get a good night's sleep, this is your hotel. Thank you to the staff for being so courteous. I would definitely stay here again!

Not so good hotel close to the airport

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Miami international airport and the shuttle service.
Cons: Services (a working internet), room cleaniness (non-smoking room smelling like a smoking room), air-conditioning (no thermostat in the room).
Location: I didn't leave the hotel to visit the surroundings.
I booked a room for one night only. I just wanted a place close to Miami international airport to sleep for one night, as I was supposed to pick up a car early in the morning of the next day. The hotel is quite close to the airport, its daily rate was one of the lowest, the hotel offers shuttle service from/to the airport and most facilities one would need for a 1 night stay. In my case, I really needed internet connection to send a few messages to the people I was supposed to meet next day in central Florida. Well, the room smelled like a smoking room (although I has asked for a non-smoking room), the bathroom was extremely small (in particular, the shower box), and the internet connection was down in the room. So, I am not so sure I made a good choice. Maybe, if I had paid a little bit more, I would have gotten a better hotel close by.

Ok hotel. No elevator

Posted Nov 10, 2014
It's ok. It's close to the airport. The room is not bad, the bathroom a little cramped but no deal breaker. The truly bad thing is there is no elevator.

Just for a short stay is ok

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: It is very close to the airport so it is great for a short stay between flights. The complimentary breakfast is very good. The wifi works fine
Cons: In general the hotel is not well mantained and decoration outdated. Rooms/batrooms are small and pretty basic. The air conditioned is old and noisy.
I had to take and early flight so it worked well for me to be close to the airport. The hotel is ok if you want to rest for a few hours but more than that could be depressing.

Good place for a night

Posted Nov 9, 2014
We picked this place because they offered a free shuttle to the port and saved me $36 for the cruise ship transfer. The inn price was good, friendly staff, and a standard motel breakfast. It's an older building with narrow hallways. The biggest down side was the room was small. It measured 12x12 and the bathroom was also small. The television signal was really bad but we really did care that much. There is not too much nearby except a couple small restaurants and gas stations. If we came back down for a night i would stay here again. Anything longer then that I would go some place bigger.

Not too bad

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Price, staff, distance from the airport.
Cons: Smoky smell of the rooms and the bathroom's WC size ;)
Very friendly staff that compensate the old furnishings. It is about 5 minutes driving from the airport and 25 minutes from the beach. Shuttling service is available even at early morning.

Its a safe and comfy place to sleep for a night

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Old, shabby, and in a questionable part of town. However, the beds and furnishings are comfortable and functional for a single night crash after a late flight or before an early AM. Free coffee, bagels, and shuttle is worth the price all by themselves.
