“The Betsy in February is a wonderful escape”

We loved the location, staff and rooftop terrace. The pool view rooms are very nice but a tad small, especially the bathrooms. I couldn't find by ebook charger when I got home and they were very helpful in locating it and sending it back to me. We would definintely stay there again.

One of the most enjoyable hotels that my wife and I have ever stayed at. The BLT was excellent for breakfast, lunch and especially dinner.The entire staff was professional and curtious. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel is in a great location, it is easy to get to the beach, other restraurants, clubs and shopping. If we had the time we go back in a minute.

“Best location in South Beach”

The hotel was beautiful ! The location is amazing. The roof deck has a spectacular view of the ocean. You are right int he middle of everything. Walk to Lincoln Rd. and Espanola Way. The only issue was the sound from a garbage truck in the early morning right out back one morning. The staff could not be more helpful. I will be going back! Take the walking tour of the Art Deco district with Calvin. He ia a true gem!

“Delightful Hotel”

We stayed at The Betsy for a quick four day get-away with friends and we were delighted with the hotel! The staff were extremely helpful and gave wonderful dining suggestions. The view from the rooftop lounge area was spectacular and very relaxing. If there was one thing that needed improvement it was the beach towels and lounge covers provided on the beach front kiosk associated with the hotel - the ones we provided were sub-standard. It is a highly recommended hotel for your South Beach vacation!

Great hotel with excellent service...they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable...did a lot of little things that made our stay very nice.

“Best of Both Worlds”

The Betsy was perfectly located at a quiet end of the main South Beach strip, steps away from the action, but removed enough to feel cozy and peaceful at night. The hotel is in great condition, had graceful decor and was overall very clean and updated. The only oddity we encountered was that the housecleaning service was quite aggressive barging in at 10am if you're not prepared, and we couldn't find a "do not disturb" sign for our lives. After the first night's turn down service, we also noticed that there was no shampoo, no more bath towels, and a muddy footprint on our bathroom floor. The front desk quickly sent shampoo and towels, so that pretty much took care of things. Having BLT in the lobby was also fantastic--ended up eating there every morning.

“Outstanding Hotel, perfect location, not inexpensive”

The Betsy truly earns it's 4 1/2 star rating. It is truly a first class experience in all elements. We happened to be there during spring break and two large MTV music festivals were happening so the rates were extremely high. The location of this hotel, on Ocean drive at the end of the Art Deco district is a perfect. Many of the other hotels have noise issues on lower floors. This was not the case at the Betsy. It truly is an oasis of calm amidst the South Beach craziness. The courtyard pool is very nice and the rooftop sunbathing area is fabulous with comfortable lounges and umbrellas and outstanding service. Be aware that because of the architectural preservation limitations that the rooms and bathrooms are not overly large. This is made up for with wonderful appointments and decorating. There is a standard daily fee paid for lounge chairs and umbrellas across the street at the beech which is probably well worth it to avoid the hassle. This is probably not a family hotel nor a destination for hords of spring breakers. It was a great four day get-away destination for my wife and me. Expect to pay during peak season though.

“First Time at the Betsy”

We visited The Betsy for a short weekend and had a wonderful time! The restaurant was fantastic, the hotel was beautiful, and it's location was great. It was great to have chairs and umbrellas at our disposal at the beach. I loved coming back to the hotel after a day out because it was so pretty. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had picked one of the prettiest, and nicest hotels on Ocean Drive. We will likely return to Miami and will definitely choose The Betsy again.

“Wonderful experience”

Very nice boutique hotel, great area with a park at the front door an a minute walk to the beach. The restaurant is extremely good for any of the meal (we had breakfast and dinner and we were extremely satisfied). Very close to all the Miami Beach action but far enough not to hear any noise at night!
