Nice clean and comfortable hotelPosted Dec 1, 2013
Cons: Free Coffee!
It was a very nice hotel to stay in, The restaurant at the hotel was slow under staffed and no one working the restaurant could speak a word of English. It's not far from from the heart of South Beach, about an $8.00 cab ride.

cute boutique hotelPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: Staff were great.
Cons: Breakfast. Not very hot but palatable.
Location: Beach is one block away, You need a car if you want to go to restaurants/ clubs.
Hotel was pleasant enough, small which I typically prefer. Staff were very friendly & helpful. I thought the breakfast was included but found out at check-out that it was not. Breakfast was ok but I could have skipped it. There are no other restaurants close by as the area is very quiet and removed from the craziness that is South Beach. My room was pleasant enough but the air conditioner was noisy. Mattress was ok but creaked. Shower was adequate. The rate was reasonable which I have found other hotels in Miami to be quite expensive.

Pretty on the outside hotel-No way a 4 starPosted Nov 17, 2013
Location: Close to the beach a good ten dollar taxi ride from any sort of night life, shady characters lurking around by night and day.
Very dissapointed with this place as soon as i walked in they start charging me for extras and believe me everything is extra, the room was just about an acceptable standard of cleanliness but dated tatty furniture,a lumpy sqeaky bed and terrible glazing that you could hear a pin dropped outside.Well you would hear it if the traffic was quieter! The sink was cracked the taps etc looked like they came out of a trash cart. Parking was offered in an under croft area but that costs alot too in a place that has about 12 spaces and my wife couldnt park in it because the space was so tight. The reception area is poor and has an unpleasant smell about it the restaurant/bar area is very poor and although they do offer a free drink on arrival i was served by an unfriendly bar man with a less than impressive Sangria. I just cant understand how this place has a star rating this high,i would say avoid at all costs.

Neat little historic boutique hotelPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Front desk staff customer service, location, room
Cons: Room cleaning, also maybe consider updating the bathrooms a little bit. Fix the Jacuzzi.
Location: Beach, Lincoln Street Mall, restaurants, shopping
The hotel was nice and small. Rooms are on the smaller side but we were not going for huge rooms. Bathroom faucets could be a little updated. The cleaning could be slightly better. The front desk staff was really helpful - and this was for any time for the day. I stayed at Fontainebleau for part of my trip and I feel the customer service at this hotel was far superior. The Jacuzzi did not function properly (there was no pool). I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this hotel is on the national historic hotel registry.

Old Hotel 1 Block from the BeachPosted Oct 29, 2013
Hotel gave the feel of being very old and outdated. Queen bed creeked each time my wife and I moved. Small ( maybe 27 " ) TV mounted on wall 15 feet away from bed in an alcove which made it hard to see TV from bed. Very limited parking space which comes with a $22 p/day fee plus a resort fee of $9.50 ( Not sure what this was for since hotel had no real amenities except a small hot tub.) Price charged was more for location to beach than the room.

Small...not alot of amenitiesPosted Oct 29, 2013
Cons: ABle to get beach towels, but "ran out" of beach chairs...just not ver accomodating.
Disappointed in our stay...breakfast buffet was not good...conflicting information given about parking...bar not well stocked. Pretty building and decor, but not worth the stay.

Nice, quaint hotel close to the beachPosted Oct 19, 2013
Cons: Bigger TV, easier access to ice.
Great hotel if you like avoiding the big hotel crowds! Cozy feeling to it as well as being a National Historic hotel. There was really only one issue with lack of parking, but it worked out ok. Not a ton of amenities, but the room was very spacious and clean. Small TV, but that's not why we were there anyway. Would gladly stay there again next time.

Good place to stay in :)Posted Sep 11, 2013
The hotel was excellent. We got what we were promised. Basically what u see, that is what u get. One thing for people who will stay there don't use mini bar, because prices of beverages and snacks in there is just of the charts :)
