“Great location!”

Great location for many of south beach activities. Everything you need is within walking distance. It is right on espanola way which is a great spot for nightlife and good restaurants. The hotel does not look like much from the outside, but once you are inside it is very cozy and the rooms are quite large. I would recommend it to anyone! Room was clean. It has an old feel although it seems like it was just recently renovated, which made it a cool experience.

“Clay hotel rocks!!!!!!!”

Very clean rooms. Helpful and kind staff. Room service on point everyday like clock work. Excellent location on espanol way. Close to all restaurants and night clubs. Air condition was great especially for those hot days I stayed there and if it gets too cold use the ceiling fan. Only thing I say is if you need an iron request it early don't wait until the time you want to go out because they just might run out of the especially on weekend stays.

“Great Little Place!!”

I wasn't sure what to expect since I had never stayed in this part of town or at The Clay before but was very pleasantly surprised. The front desk people were very nice and let us check in at 12:30 instead of 3pm. There is a restaurant attached to the lobby of the Clay called Oh Mexico and it was the cutest little place. We sat at the bar and had some awesome homemade margaritas and the BEST guacamole and Salsa! Definitely recommend trying this place. The prices were bad at all. We didnt try any other food but the atmosphere and friendly car tender were sucha nice addition. When we finally checked in, we walked down the cute little side street that had so much personality. Bars, restaurants, music....and were lead up and narrow stairway to our part of the hotel. Our room was small but VERY clean and neat. Newly painted and looked like it may have been recently renovated. not much for decor but I wasnt concerned about that. It had a Flat screen TV and what looked like New carpet. Our room had a cute little balcony that over looked the lively side street. There was a decent size fridge as well. The air condition was set perfectly and we didnt have to adjust it once. For the price of this hotel, I was NOT expecting to like this place so much. I have stayed at some pretty crappy placed in SOBE so I know what the cheap rates usually mean, but seriously, I WILL go back to the Clay for Sure. You are 2 blocks from Lincoln and and 3 blocks for the beach and Ocean drive.

“GREAT STAY!”

me and my boyfriend just got back two days ago. we stayed four nights in this hotel and LOVED it! it was a a great location just steps away from lincoln road, ocean drive, all the night clubs good food, shopping, the beach is a two block walk! the beach is AMAZING here! right outside the hotel the street espanola way gets blocked off after like 7 pm and its great to eat and get drinks! the only hidden fee at this hotel was valet parking at $15 a day, which still isnt bad since south beach is pretty hard to find parking in, and even still it will be metered. over all great stay.

“Worth it”

It's not a 5 star hotel but you knew that when you saw the price. However it has all you need. The location is great. Get a little confused finding the rooms. OTher than that it served a great purpose for a leisurely trip that you plan on spending outside of hotel.

“Very good hotel for price”

I got a great room here, I saw some others that were not quite as nice but mine was lovely and comfortable. I even had a little balcony.
