Old and smelly

Hotel if very old and you are charged for stuff you normally get for free wifi, safe and beach towels. Parking was 30 dollers a day. first time last time pay 100 dollers moreand get a nice hotel

Pros: We loved the pool and the beach.
Cons: Front desk could be a little friendlier and helpful when asked about places to go.
We stood in this hotel for 4 nights. We wasn't to happy with our stay. We arrived at the hotel at 11:30pm, (by the time we was done with checking in it was 12am) as soon as we checked in there was a charge of $20 for the pool, beach,wifi and gym use (we didn't mind paying for the rest of the days) We asked the front desk agent why is he charging us for a day use when the day was over, all he said was it's an automatic charge. The next day as we went to the beach they only provide you with 2 beach chairs, if we wanted an additional chair we would have to pay $15 (it was 3 of us staying at the hotel). On our last day which was Monday they shut the electricity down from 1am to 5am. We had no running water and no ac. When we got back from a night out a security (by the way he was very friendly and very nice unlike some of the front desk agents) escorted us to our room. We had to walk up some stairs and go to sleep in a hot muggy room without showering (believe me, we could of used a shower after our night out). We feel that the hotel should of compensated us for the unconvinced.

A 'what you'd expect from $110' stay

Pros: Proximity to the beach.
Cons: Customer service/ House keeping (room cleanliness)
Our reservation stipulated a one night stay for 2 (two double beds) and massage at the Deauville Beach Resort in Miami Beach, FL. Upon arrival, we were informed no such massage was included with our reservation. Obviously disappointed, we shrugged it off at first due to a busy schedule and late night fatigue. As we thought more about the situation we came to the decision that we are entitled to what we booked/paid for. We went down to the front desk and talked to a now different agent than our initial one. She informed us often there are issues when booking through third party agencies (like Expedia) and assured us that this was the current situation at hand. She informed us there was no massage on our reservation. I had to go onto my email and reference my itinerary to inform them otherwise. Upon seeing this she gave me what i believed to be a massage voucher, but in fact was only a promotional flyer you would see in a drug store tourist shelf. Now I wasn't having it. I went back and told them everything that happened, and she still proceeded to argue against me. Working in customer service myself I knew this wasn't acceptable and could be so easily rectified. All in all I got what I booked but at the expense of my precious time in Miami. No such work should ever have to be done to get something you paid for/booked well in advance.

DISAPPOINTED!!!

Pros: the ocean view that is it.
Cons: This hotel needs major improvement.
Location: location was good
The hotel was a disappointment. I booked an Ocean view and that was the only thing that was good. Hotel has a great location, but its old and needs to be renovated. The A/C was not functioning properly so it was hot and noisy. Everything was old about this hotel, the decor, the rooms, the carpet, etc etc. I do not recommend it.

Entrance & pool very impressive

Decent location but parking was unexpected @ $30 a day and a block away. Ice machines didn't work & charge $1 for ice & $2 for water at pool bar for a guest...:( and mandatory $20 a day for emintenties not needed is another unknown expense.

Nightmare

Pros: Location is amazing, the rooms are big, next to the beach and a nice pool outside of the hotel
Cons: Need renovations!!!!!!!!!
Location: Many different restaurants outside, Brazilian or Mexican food, a Walgreen's next to the hotel if you need to buy shampoo or chips etc
I feel bad for whomever works there, the staff are embarrassed by this hotel, I wish the owner could do some renovations on this hotel because it is lovely looking from the outside but hideous in the inside.
