Property Amenities
The Hotel (formerly the Tiffany) has a 1939 edifice and original terrazzo floors, but has been entirely re-envisioned by designer Todd Oldham. The result is colorful, highly stylized, yet comfortable. The jewel-toned lobby has original Deco-era circular windows, and a wooden barrier with palm trees separates the Inner Garden dining room from the reception area. Guests--sometimes famous--come for the details, which include an egg-shaped banquette in green velvet and a mosaic-glass mirror in shades of gold. The Wish bar has a playful Moorish design.
Aside from an excellent location one block from the ocean in a South Beach shopping strip, the Hotel distinguishes itself with a rooftop pool featuring an unobstructed ocean view. Several cabanas line the intimate pool area with massage services available.
The Hotel of South Beach provides two beach chairs for two guests per room. Massage services are available in guestrooms and on the pool deck. Guests receive a discount on treatments at the nearby Le Spa Lancome.
Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel. A business center and meeting room are on site, and additional meeting space is available in the Kenneth Cole building across the street, owned by the hotel.
An on-site gift shop sells signature items by Todd Oldham. An elevator leads to a rooftop pool and fitness center.
Rooms
The Hotel of South Beach offers 73 nonsmoking guestrooms in a four-story building. Gem-inspired lights glow with room numbers in the hallways. Rooms include a flat-panel TV with cable service and an iPod docking station. Guestrooms are all nonsmoking.
Guestrooms are petite but carefully designed, with custom-made furnishings. Todd Oldham's influence is everywhere, from the skinny closets framing window seats to pale-ash desks, mosaic handles, and tie-dyed bathrobes. Mirrors create space and windows are double-paned.
Beds have Frette bedding with satin-ribboned pillows. Bathrooms feature multi-colored, airbrushed bathroom tiles, fogless makeup/shaving mirrors, rainhead showers, and White Company of London bath products.
Wireless Internet access is complimentary for guests with a wireless card. Complimentary copies of The New York Times are delivered and housekeeping is provided.

This Collins Avenue hotel offers one of the only rooftop pools in South Beach with an unobstructed ocean view. The striped sundeck is petite in size and its emerald-shaped pool is 12 ft x 35 ft. Cabanas offer massage services. One end of the pool includes jets, making it a quasi-spa tub.
Adjacent to the pool deck is a small fitness center, also with an ocean view. Another small deck is used for yoga classes on Saturday mornings (subject to change without notice).

“Excellent Hotel”
This is an excellent hotel with a lot of charm. If you are looking for a view this isn't the place for you though. Most of south beach doesn't seem to have hotels directly on the beach and with a view so you may not miss it. The rooms were small but felt perfect because of how they were layed out and designed. The staff was incredible and the pool was tons of fun.
“Great Hotel, Great Location, Relax and Have Fun!”
We were really happy with our hotel choice. The hotel was in a great location. It was close to the beach, close to restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The staff in the hotel were really helpful, it seemed that anyone we talked to whether a concierge, barman or waiter had worked there for 8+ years. Their job satisfaction came out in the level of service and they were always attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the roof top pool in the day time and also the roof top bar in the evening. We also ate at the Wish restaurant at the hotel and enjoyed the best meal of our visit to Miami. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone going to South Beach.
“Excellent Service!”
Top notch service! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool was spectacular! The beach umbrellas are included with the room, which is a great bonus. The News Cafe around the corner from the hotel was lovely for breakfast every morning. The Van Dyke on Lincoln Road is a great Jazz cafe. Great location, within walking distance of everything cool! Highly recommend this hotel.
“Always impressively good.”
We stayed here before a couple of years ago and liked thissmall hotel a lot. And this time again we were impressed with the spontaneous friendliness of the staff. They make the true difference in this hotel. Rooms are on the small side, but tastefully decorated. Roof top pool with ocean view is superb. Location couldn't be better; in the middle of South Beach and right next to the top shops. Lovely hotel.
“The perfect place to stay!”
I picked this hotel because it was the only one that had no negative reviews, and now I really understand why. What a fabulous place! It's completely renovated. The rooms are immaculate, and the hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. I have never had service like this, even in a much more expensive hotel. Whatever we needed - extra towels, late check-out,etc. - they arranged immediately and cheerfully. I would absolutely go back!
“Great Location, But the Room Was A Little Small, But Still Very Nice”
For the money, I thought the room was a little bit on the small side. But it was very nice and had a nice view of Collins Ave. The hotel is really close to all the action but since it is on Collins, noise is not a factor. There are a lot of really good bars and restaurants that are within walking distance. The staff and concierege was very helpful. Would definitely go back.
“Great Stay !”
We went to South Beach for a long weekend as a wedding anniversary getaway and had a blast. The hotel was confortable, the staff very helpful and the location could not be better. We stayed in the second room and there were no annoying noise from other rooms or from the party nearby. The hotel is very close to the party action in Ocean Drive as well as from the dining area in Hispanola Way and Washington Ave. Would definitely stay again in The Hotel, it was a delightful and satisfactory stay. The hotel excellent staff, location and confort had a lot to do with our trip satisfaction.
“Well Located Hotel in South Beach”
Hotel was well located with many resturants and cafes in the vicinity with the beach across the road. We had a room on Ocean Drive which was clean and comfortable.
“Great Hotel - Great Location”
The best location in South Beach. It's very close to the beach and far from the noise. Very caring and attentionate staff... An elegant and beautiful hotel... My home in South Beach from now on. I've been to other hotels and it's the first time I really fully enjoy my stay in South Beach.
“Very nice stay”
The location of the hotel is great. It's convenient to any of the major attractions of South Beach. Even if outside it's noisy, you can't hear a thing from the room. You can hear some noises from the floor above or from the room next, but nothing too bothersome. Bathroom is small but cozy and really nice.
