Pros: The location was awesome.
Cons: Not transferring customers out to crappy hotels when you overbook.
So I had a reservation at here for 3 nights. The room itself wasn't that bad actually. But, apparently the hotel was having drama and transferred me down the street to another hotel for my final night. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I cannot believe that I wasted my money - I would have rather slept at the airport. Such a disappointment to both have my travel disrupted and then to be downgraded to such a horrible facility. The worst part is that since it was prepaid through Expedia i couldn't get my money back. So disappointed.

Dirty floors and the tub didn't drain.

Pros: walking distance to activities.
Cons: needs much improvement. a La Quinta would be a 4 star compared to this hotel.
Location: beach, dancing, dining, live music.
TV remote didn't work. Dirty floors, tub drained very slowly (hours). Only two pillows on bed.... When I mention the issues the clerk at the front desk said,"that's the way it is".....

The worst hotel experience ever : poor service, filthy rooms, dirty sheets, dirty bathroom... We booked two rooms for a business trip and had the worst surprise staying at this dump. This is one star at best! But even a one star would be clean! The bedding was so gross that I had to sleep in my clothes!

I booked this hotel thinking it was the Aloft. It isn't. Not even close. Although the pictures are very deceiving. This hotel is a dump. After we checked in and got to the room it took all of 30 seconds to decide we were not staying. The kitchen was filthy. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Chipped paint on the tub. No plug for the drain. The toilet seat was loose. Ugh. We immediately called Expedia who was wonderful and gave us a refund for three days but we had to stay one night. That was a very long night. I kept expecting to get bitten by something. Once morning came we got the hell out of there and used Expedia to reserve a room at The Element. Now that is a real hotel. Modern, clean and nice. I will never recommend The Loft to anyone.

Bates Motel!

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Worst experience ever. Wish I could show pictures. Chipped paint everywhere, dirty walls, bugs flying around, AC didn't work. I thought it was a prank! They refused to change my room. I was forced to take the loss on this hotel and book another hotel. The room had the look of "slum lord" owned apartment.

The loft needs to post photos that are a true representation of the current state of those rooms. The photos must have been taken over a decade ago and are very misleading.

Not what you expected

Pros: The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location of how close it is to the beach and nearest hotspots to eat and party at.
Cons: The service.
Location: It is near club Mansion, and many delicious, inexpensive restaurants.
First, we weren't welcomed very nicely when we came to the hotel. When we saw the conditions of the hotel, there were rusted refrigerators, and rusted bathrooms with old, worn shower curtains. Being that we had a kitchen, we invited a few friends over to eat dinner with us in our room and was rudely attacked by the women working at the reception desk. She called our room accusing me and my roommate of "sneaking in" extra girls, stating "she's done this for years, and knows what we were up to", but in reality we were just having a few guests over. This lady was screaming at us, and was beyond rude on many levels. Between the disappointment and the service we received, the overall experience could have definitely been better. Look elsewhere for a place to stay!
