Gorgeous property, outstanding staffPosted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: Phenomenal property in great location with professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Location: Outstanding location on Collins close to Lincoln Road restaurants and nightlife of Ocean Drive without the noise.
This is a beautiful hotel in an outstanding location. The beach bar staff were super friendly and the menu and drinks were perfect. The room I stayed in was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and very nicely decorated.

Very nice hotel near the beach!Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Location. Building. Decor!
Cons: Service has a long way to go to be improved. Eliminating the various charges will improve things a lot more.
Location: Location is great. Near shopping and restaurants and also the beach.
I was very displeased by the nickel and dime policies of the hotel. The hotel charged me almost $20 for resort fee! Yet at the pool would give out ONLY one towel!! On the beach they charged another $19 for the sun umbrella!! Cheap management!

Classic Hotel!Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: It is quiet, breakfast is great, close to the beach and even though the pool area isn't huge, there were always enough chairs at the pool.
Cons: It looks like they are making improvements, like building more seating platforms etc. I would make the lobby a little more inviting.
Location: Great location!! Close to Lincoln Road and to Ocean drive.
The hotel is not a scene like other hotels on the strip...a classic hotel with good food, a nice pool and close to the beach!

Close to the beach, but no real amenities.Posted Feb 22, 2015
First, I was greeted at the front desk by staff informing me that I had to pay a $20 service charge for towels and use of the gym. Really, that was so disappointing. This was a partcularly cold weekend so it was impossible to use the pool and I didn't use gym. I believe on paying for what I use but not paying whether I use it or not. If this is the policy, management should consider a change. There wasn't even water in the room. I would have gladly paid for that, too! When I recieved by final bill At check out, I had a charge for valet service and I didn't have a car! I will not return and warn friends.

Great location in Deco DistrictPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: The ambiance and the location, right on the beach.
Cons: The bathroom was too small, no drawers in the room and not enough hangers in the closet. The music from the other hotels was horrible in the afternoon
Location: We walked all around for good dinners and enjoyed the locale.
We had a very enjoyable holiday weekend at The National Hotel. The staff was excellent, the hotel clean and lovely, the breakfast delicious and location perfect. We enjoyed the Flamenco guitarist at the bar one night and we felt that we made the right choice in choosing your hotel.

Very nice hotel on the beach.Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: Proximity to beach, looks, cleanliness, amenitites, distance to all attractions.
Cons: Include the $19 daily fee in the upfront booking price.
Location: Close to Ocean Drive and super close to Epanola Way and Lincoln Road shops.
Loved it, would go there again and certainly recommend to others. Short walk to the craziness of Ocean Drive but just far enough away that you can get a good night's sleep. Don't take a cab from the airport... way too expensive! Take the 150 Airport bus that'll cost you $2.65 per person.
