The hotel was on the main south beach..which is what we wanted! There was a restaurant on the premises and the staff was really nice. Just an all around friendly staff...we will definitely be back!!

Short stay on way to KeysPosted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location. I also loved the old art deco style.
Cons: It is being remodeled soon and I hope they keep the historic feel and art deco style.
Location: Across the street is South Beach. On the street there are numerous shops and restaurant.
This hotel is actually very cool. It is an art deco hotel built I think in the 1930"s. It is in need of a lot of work which we found out is planned beginning this summer. The hotel is going to undergo a major renovation and will be closed for about two years. We actually really enjoyed the place, it is right across the street from South beach and all the action is within walking distance. We has a corner room facing the beach which was very nice. Even thought the building is old the rooms were neat and clean. You especially notice the wear in the hallways and the ancient elevator. Our room was comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean and the shower was ice. I have to say the staff were outstanding. The afternoon front desk clerk was very nice, giving us the option to upgrade to the beach front room for only and extra $20.00 per night. That being said the cost per night in South Beach is very high, this hotel was probably 4 times what you would normally pay for this type of hotel. But I felt it was a great price for the location. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant and you get a 20% discount. There is a small pool which has a nice relaxing area to spend time winding down. The day bellhop was outstanding, very helpful. We were there when the street out front was closed due to the art festival and he pushed a cart with our luggage over two blocks to get to our car.

Last minute getaway stayed at Park CentralPosted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: The location is perfect and staff was very good. Plenty of hot water, best shower ever!
Cons: Not bad place, but not a Hilton for sure. We stayed 6 nights but would only recommend a long weekend next time. The hotel needs a major remodel.
Location: If this is the area you want and want to party at all the places in Miami Beach this place is at the end of where everything is going on. Party life
The Park Central is a very old building and is on the historic building registry in Miami Beach.

The walls are not enough to avoid the noises from other areas and the facility itself was a kind of old. Close to the beach and restaurants is a good thing.

Great location, friendly staff & service.Posted Jan 19, 2015
Thought the building is old (historical site), they made the rooms modern. Small rooms, but very comfortable bed and pillows....we slept well! Staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful. Front desk, valet, and concierge...all pleasant. Sergio at the conceirge was informative and friendly. We will definetly come stay here again.
