Overall was good. Had issues with safe multiple times . Pool side service made errors two days. Food was good once we got the right order. Nice people in Miami .

lobby looked great

Pros: key Biscayne was great
Cons: alcohol cost
due to over booking and flooding??? we were relocated to the Key Biscayne resort. Very nice and the hotel absorbed the costs for the inconvenience but it was not what we had selected so it was disappointing.

This Ritz Carlton is not up to par

Posted Dec 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for one night prior to flying out of MIA. Was really looking forward to a luxurious stay at the Ritz Carlton. Service was not great; was a very disappointing experience, especially for the price. Internet didn't work and tech service to help to fix it was very poor. They told us that only one wireless device would work per room! Phone in room also didn't work. Got a lot of apologies from the front desk staff. Will be wary of booking at just any Ritz. Usually wonderful. This one not so great, so book with caution.

Clean rooms, outstanding service, even let us check in six hours early after a red eye flight. Loved it!

Disappointing Service

Posted Nov 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were very excited to stay at the Ritz because of its legendary reputation for top notch service but the service was awful we had might as well stayed to a bargain hotel instead of splurging. Very disappointed and will not return.

Nice Hotel, not so nice area

Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Everything, but service was great!
Location: Location is not that good anymore.
The hotel is great, but the area is not as fancy anymore. I expected more from Miami, but I think that the hotel is too much for cocconot grove. It is not a nice area, but if you have to be there, the Ritz-Carlton is the place to be!

Close to my meeting

Posted Oct 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Horrible....rooms smelled of mildew, internet was down which impacted my business meeting, no hot water...had to take a cold shower, phone in the room did not work, hairdryer in the room did not work...took forever to have housekeeping bring another one. Tried to order a drink at the bar, service was so bad, I had to order it and have it sent to my room and pay extra room service charge. I love the Ritz Properties....this one is nothing like any of the other properties from SoCal to Atlanta....horrible.

Top Notch Service

It was a wonderful stay in Miami. Every one of the people working at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The pool was pretty and the food was great. The rooms and bathrooms were nice with pretty colors and nice marble. A very classy place.

Nice Hotel

This was a tale of two cities. The staff was amazing helpful and cheerful. However, they dropped the ball on two seperate occasions. I'd requested a rental vehicle be available in the morning. This request was done the previous evening. No vehicle showed up and when I spoke to the front desk I was advised the vehicle would arrive an hour after requested. This really consued our scheduled events. Second was requesting 3 cabs at a specific time for departing the hotel to the airport. This request was done the evening prior. Cabs were late. Not good.

Luxury hotel in Coconut Grove

Posted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: Its confort, location and the size. You can be in your room very fast, no long walks...
Cons: Our room this time was a "City View"... maybe they should have a category of "Garden View" or similar. I liked it but it was not city view.
Location: Great location, easy to get to the Coral Gables area, downtown- brickell or South Miami-Dadeland. Many restaurants at walking distance.
The hotel has keept its charm and a feeling of luxury, the decor is in very good taste with a modern-classic ambiance. Since it is not a very big hotel you do not feel like you are in a big convention - meeting place. Rooms are quite big and the beds and linens are top. The pool area is very nice also.
