We stayed during Art Basel, so it’s understandably busy. There are certain expectations from a 5-star hotel, or any hotel, though. During an entire Friday morning, only one of the 3 elevators worked, so we had to wait 20 minutes for one trip. The doors closed too quickly and the sensor at the only functioning elevator didn’t work. My husband’s arm almost got caught as he tried to « wave » the door open to let more people in. Some serious safety concern there. Room cleaning staff only cleaned half of our room. Dirty cups and dishes on the table were not removed and supplies were not replenished. Overall staff were friendly and the lobby tastefully decorated, but the property is old and needs major updates in the room.

The room was smaller than we expected... we booked the partial ocean front and was not impressed we paid less at fountainbleau and had more space and better view There was no microwave in room we had to ask for one and they brought one to room this is our last stay at ritz carlton

Good service as expected, rooms a bit small, largely due to age of building on a cramped South Beach I know it's the Ritz but prices are $$$$$$ . $40 for cocktail at the pool. I expect to pay over the odds at a pool bar and especially the Ritz but that's just too much IMHO ! Also $60 for overnight parking is excessive i feel together with a $45 resort fee. so basically they sting you extra $100 each nioght if you have a car travelling there

Very clean and nostalgic Ritz.
The hotel is located near a lot of shopping on Lincoln St. and the staff gets 5 stars out of five because they were very helpful and hospitable. I made my reservation in July not staying until October and my Hotel app and there system weren’t perfectly synced. This caused an extra amount of time to get sorted out. The manager faces us champagne and resort credit to make it feel better which was very nice.

I enjoyed my stay at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach. The staffs were very kind and the room was stunning with beautiful ocean views. It is such a pleasure to stay in a hotel where everyone is professional and friendly. Jade welcomed our family with professional manners and explained everything in details with patience. Lily at the restaurant was amazing. She surprised my 2yr old daughter with birthday balloons when she was about to cry in the restaurant. It was so nice to have someone who pay a little extra attention to your kid. I will definitely come back next year! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. See you soon.
