NOT LIKE PICTURESPosted Mar 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was in horrible condition seriously need to be remodeled I expected at least better than a Red Roof INN for the price! The pictures are nothing like what you actually get! The rooms have THIN walls you hear everything going on outside your room and every time someone walks on the floor above you! The mini bar was missing several items so I went to the front desk to make them aware so I didn't get charged $4 for each item. Didn't like how Condoms are on the dresser either for use made the room look really CLASSY!

Pros: How close it was to the event we were attending
Cons: Customer Service and Rooms
We came to South Beach for the Food and Wine Festival. We found this hotel on Expedia and RSVP a room since it was on the same street as the entrance to the festival. First, when we called before arriving the phone rang for ever before someone answered. We had to call again another time and the same. We were told check-in was at 3pm, which I guess is somewhat normal for hotels, but the event we had tickets to started at 11am. When we arrived, knowing we couldn't check in until 3, we asked the front desk man if we can leave our bags and park our car, which they said would cost us $20 a day. Not only did this guy have a terrible personality, but he told us we can't park until we check in. When I explained our situation and asked again if we can park it early, he said no in a rude way and I asked what are we supposed to do? He responded by shrugging his shoulders and said don't know what to tell you. He obviously proved to us that he didn't care and made us feel un-welcomed. So we had to park for $40 across the street. When we returned around 3pm to check in, we were given our room key. When we entered, it was a small tiny room, with a bed that felt hard as a rock, with a view of dumpsters on both side of the hotel. The room hasn't ever been updates since being built back in the stone ages. It was old and dingy looking. The tiny "mini bar" had two waters, a soda, a couple of candy bars, a box of condoms all without any price sheet. First time and last.

2 nights to forgetPosted Jan 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Well, from the moment I walked to the front desk I thought it was going to be awful. I usually expect a smiling person on the other side of the desk making eyes contact but it wasn't the case. Overall the hotel stuff wasn't that friendly and the room was absolutely rubbish.. dusty, dirty and smelly! Never again, rather spend more next time.

Not bad!!! Good location. Would go back../Posted Jan 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
I just needed a clean comfortable room for 2 days down in South Beach and that's what I got. The TV reception was could've been better, but who's in South Beach to watch TV in their hotel room? The staff was polite and didn't bug me to check out right at 11am. I was left alone and walked out about 30 hr after check out without a peep. Rate was good for the weekend and the bed was comfortable. I'd go back if it came down to it.

Quaint, walking distance to South Beach, lots of shops and restaurants. Relatively inexpensive.
