“Do it again”
Small rooms but who spends there time in the room when on holiday . If u do stay home. Quaint hotel
“Tiny Dollhouse”
Everything looks better and prettier in pictures. In reality, the hotel is tiny, the rooms are cheesy, the beds are way too soft and uncomfortable. There's no pool or gym. The happy hour is a joke, the alcohol is diluted beyond words, better off paying for real drinks, which were pretty good. The only pluses is that the location is good and the staff are really helpful and nice.
“close is not necessarily great”
Close to everything but not the best place to stay. Staff is not the friendliest. Rooms are very small.
“Will be back next year”
I have stayed at the Whitelaw numerous times. It is always clean and the staff is friendly helpful and excellent. Great friendly bar. Solid spot and a great value in the heart of South Beach
“The worst Hotel I name”
The person on the front desk name John is rude. He disliked me because I am "already paid" At 1 PM Iwant to chek in but he said the rooms are not ready so I have to vait until 03 PM. When I insisted the other front desk boy said ok let us chek and they can gave me the room 305. BUT THEY GET COPY OF MY CREDİT CARD WİTH THE OLD DAYS CREDİT CARD COPİER AND İNSİST ME TO SİGN IT. I obey them desperetly. I chosed this Hotel because of shuttle to air port the boy name John told me that I can take the shuttle at next day at 2 PM. At nigt the hotel bar is very noisy. Shouting yelling and loughing in the high manner. İn a small reception a small porch and a wide bar standing together. The bed is so big but room is too small. So the bathroom. The conditioner is poor and cannot be controlled. Puffing directly to the bad and very noisy. Curtens are broken just sewed ugly way. Next day . When I chek out and ask for the shuttle The Boy John told me that shuttle is broken but he can call me a cab. I thought that they pay the cab. . But when I arived the Air Port the cab driver didnot give my bags until he get my 33 USD.
“Can't Wait to go back with the Girls”
I had a recent 3 day stay at the hotel with a girlfriend of mine. My overall experience was great. The location of the hotel is PERFECT. You can walk to almost everywhere on the strip. The bar had really great drinks at a reasonable price. The bartender was really nice and so was the staff. John at the front desk was real cool. There were different specials everynight which was also cool. They also had food on premise which is really good. The free happy hour between 7pm and 8pm was also a plus basic liquor but who cares its free. The room was really cute if your with your girlfriends but suprisingly there were alot of males at the hotel. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The hotel is very trendy. The free shuttle to and from airport is also a plus. The price was great. I read alot of reviews and their were mixed feelings about the hotel but I'm glad I choose it. Overall I.had a great experience and when I go back I will be staying here or at another hotel in the South Beach Group Hotels ( theres 3 others ones on that street that belong in the same group). Def will reccomend this hotel.
“Nice Hotel”
Nice hotel, and while not the most luxurious nothing beats its great location. Rooms are comfortable, clean and have everything you need, although they are not big.
“Has been better”
Last time I've stayed at the Whitelaw it was AMAZING so naturally I came back. However, this time my experience wasn't as excellent. This time the service was slow, had to call the front desk several time before they came with extra towels, toilet paper etc. The worst part was that there was mosquitoes in the room and a small lizard (which housekeeping was told to capture but they clearly didn't). Besides living with a reptile and less than subpar service my stay was excellent. Some of the staff (John and Jonathan) was excellent and truly made up for the others. The best part about this hotel is the decor, location and complimentary happy hour.
“Not the greatest hotel, but funky, and a Olga is the best.”
Funky hotel, and while not the most luxurious nothing beats its great location. Great for the young screaming croud that likes to party. Rooms are comfy, clean and have everything you need, although they are not big. If you are not aware, everything is about comission here :-), but i guess thats normal in Miami South Beach hotels, you may find out what i mean. The best of the hotel, and reason I would come back is Olga, the cute russian bartender with the gorgeous smile. My only complaint would be the morning receptionist, who seems a bit short, but maybe thats just his character. Dont know about any overcharging of my card, i havent checkled yet, but assume this did not happen. I recommend, and have fun!
“So, so place”
The hotel is perfectly convenient located where everything is at and not far from the airport. The only issued I had was the size of the room. The bathroom was extremely small along with the bedroom. I had a king sized bed and felt like I had no space to move around, so it's definitely not good for a couple or large framed people. Sn: I'm actually slim and felt tight in the space. Overall the hotel room was clean and very pretty, and a perfect location if you want to be on the strip.
