Fantastic welcome like no other

This is a Georgian period mansion house that feels like a family run hotel. Following a very warm welcome we were shown to a beautifully decorated and furnished bedroom, supplied with complimentary tea and generally made to feel we were special guests. The gourmet evening included a superbly cooked meal, weep selected and perfectly served wines, all served by knowledgeable and courteous staff. This evening included live entertainment by a dedicated band of musicians which was perfectly pitched for sound, in the dining room. The beds were so comfortable and bathroom well appointed with toiletries and fluffy bathrobes and towels. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. A beautiful mansion house set in peaceful surroundings in a lovely valley near Aberystwyth in Wales.

A great place for a relaxing long weekend

Pros: Ambience, grounds and service
Location: Tranquil and isolated but walking distance to Aberystwyth.
Nanteos has a 5* service with a personal touch. Set in stunning grounds, a fascinating mansion tastefully restored with great rooms, ambience and service. For a peaceful weekend with fine cuisine this is a good choice. Could do a little more to help guests with walks, runs and public transport access but they're working on that. Also, good value though wine list on the pricier side. .

Pros: Excellent food. Catered well for the disabled children accepted but more geared up for adults. Very unique venue very quite and rich heritage
Cons: Could not properly control heat in bedroom.
Location: Very quiet in its own valley but difficult to find but
Difficult to find but well worth the effort. very traditional standards and excellent cuisine .disabled facilities top rate.
