This is my second time staying here and I enjoy it.. this time the elevator wasn’t working so it was a bit of an inconvenience but understandable that things go out from time to time..

The hotel is just an old hotel, could use some love from corporate. The staff were absolutely horrible, on a level I have not experienced in years. The short, round desk agent (not being mean just no name tag) took an amazing day and turned it into a horrible experience. She was having issues locating our reservation, dismissed us and told us to call the booking agent. Called Comforts main reservation, very nice, who stated no issues and she should be able to find it. After a bunch of Bach and forth, snotty faces and aggression, both with us and her own reservations staff, we decided to cancel and leave. Decent property horrific staff. Corporate or the GM at the very least needs to reevaluate the front desk agent on duty for Sep 16ths PM shift.

The hotel was relatively clean and presentable, it is after all a hotel that caters to many oilfield workers. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast area. The coffee machine was broken the first day of our stay. The juice machine was out of order and no attempt was made to provide water or juice in pitchers. The food items were frequently in short supply or poor quality.

The property is rather quiet and there is not much noise that goes on inside the building. There is a car wash behind it and sometimes that can get rather noisey.

Had trouble sleeping; not the hotels fault. Microwave was unclean as was the fridge. Key card worked once, but was replaced and that did not work, second key card given at check in did work.

My husband stayed here for business. He had been here the previous month and said it was ok. In a few weeks time, the breakfast had gone downhill and when he asked for another towel, he was told "I don't have any." They told him that if he brought his dirty one down, that they could give him a pool towel. REALLY? A Comfort Inn, and there aren't enough towels? He literally had ONE towel, ONE hand towel an ONE washcloth in his room. Breakfast was sub-par and late.

Was able to get a room on the top floor. It was quiet except for a noisey room fan. All other accommations met our expectations, including a nice, hot breakfast. Staff was super pleasant.

I booked a king size room for 2 guests and we only had one bath towel, one hand towel, and one wash cloth. Did not realize until I took a shower and had to use the damp dirty towel that was then laying in the corner of the floor... gross...

The Best Stanton has to offer!
No toilet paper dispenser. Had to ask for towels. Asked for late check out, clerk said yes, no problem and was charged an extra day for late check out.
