Only Stay Here If You're Desperate

Cons: Tv, bed sizes, add microwave or coffeemaker
Location: shopping centers near by
Don't be fooled by the fireplace in the lobby. The amenities are old. beds are small. We asked for a king sized bed and got a king sized head board with a twin sized mattress. We spent as much time away from the place as possible. We were so uncomfortable we even ended up ending our trip earlier than planned.

It seemed like the hotel was recently renovated but it was not complete such as in the hallways. Something just felt off although the beds and decor in the room was updated.

When we checked in the lady was great. We messed something up in the booking and she fixed it with no complaint or annoyance. Room was great. We forgot to check out so we had to call and the lady did it over the phone with a great attitude.

Good but no hot water

This is usually my first choice when I'm in Savannah. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and a name change so there's construction everywhere. The only problem I had as well as the other hotel guests was there was no hot water till about 9 that night and again that morning.

Horrible, worst hotel experience ever

Wish I could give zero stars. Check in time was 3pm, arrived at 8pm but room had not been "assigned"...had to wait 2hrs for a room, by this time it was after 10pm. They had signs apologizing for dust as they were remodeling, which is ok. BUT, our bathroom looked like it was still being upgraded with dirty towels on the floor to catch water dripping from the toilet, along with plastic material. Vanity had sawdust all over it. There were no towels or toilet paper in the room so we had to go to reception where we waited another half hour. The place has potential but we had an absolutely terrible experience.

Cheap due to construction

I got a room for under $50 only because of the remodeling of the hotel. They didn't have their act together yet but the place will be nice when finished. The staff was friendly.

The perfect distance from midtown

I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay and this hotel provides that. I did have to fix the toilet by myself because the water leveler was jammed. Not a huge deal for me tho

The price was the only good thing about this hotel

Location: Hard to get to and away from all attractions
The location is strange, the TV required strange methods to get it to work, no coffee in the room, Breakfast was at best mediocre.

Wasn't awful

Thought we would give it a go despite bad reviews, but experience similar to what we had read. First two rooms they gave us had not been cleaned. Room we finally got had a bad odor, bed spread was dirty/gross, toilet and toilet seat were loose (I tightened both up), hallway carpets were filthy. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and staff friendly. Have stayed in worse and much nicer.
