Booked The Towers at New York Palace for silver anniversary - what can I say. We booked a king size suite which was fab. Entrance area, living area, bedroom, dressing room and bathroom. Fantastic views and fabulous location. Room very comfortable with little extras - ipod docking station, Molton Brown toiletries,The Hotel is within easy walking distance to most tourist attractions. Didn't eat in the hotel, however lots of places close by for breakfast and dinner

"Exceptional classic hotel in a great location"
Stayed here for my husband's 40th and had an amazing time. I think we were among the youngest guests, but that meant peace and relaxation away from the family. Exceptionally clean with very high standards for comfort and attention to detail. Location was brilliant.

"birthday treat to new york!"
had a fantastic trip to New York, booked through expedia. everything went smoothly, the only hold up was a rather grumpy driver on the airport transfer bus who turned up late on our arrival. otherwise all arrangements went without a hitch. the hotel was great, beautifully clean rooms. attentive staff without being overbearing. everyone very friendly. they also upgraded our room without any extra payment. the photos do not do it justice. the roof top bar is stylish and smart with fantastic views. i was slightly nervous about booking everything on line but delighted that it all worked! thankyou expedia.

"Made our trip to New York!"
The service at this hotel is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful which makes for a very comfortable stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them, which is what I expect from good hotels. The room was great and bigger than other places we have stayed at in NYC. Location is also top notch being walking distance to Empire State, Macys, Madison Square and the green line is just a couple of blocks away to go uptown or downtown. The deco is up to date, funky, charming and cleanliness I cannot fault. Free Wifi (although with the resort charge - but I didn't mind that) and usable fridge is very helpful. Having drinks at the lobby is also great at the end of the day and a great vibe. We could not thank the doormen enough for getting the cabs for us whenever we wanted one. They knew what they were doing, these guys and only all too willing to help. Because of the location, getting meals is also not a problem at all from five star restaurants to the little roadside stores in front of Macy's. We had ventured to Greenwich village, Flatiron district and Central Park area as well for meals. The little place across the road is quite good for cheap breakfast when we were in a hurry to go somewhere. Otherwise, there are little cafes up the road. We also had a quick breakfast at the hotel which was great because they accommodated our one croissant and coffee in their buffet restaurant as we were in a hurry.

"Great hotel minutes from the Empire State building"
This hotel was excellent. The people were all friendly and approachable. The Reception, the Porters, the cleaning and also the maintenance staff all acknowledged you when you met them. No question was too much trouble. I found the beds comfortable, the room clean and spacious and the free tea, coffee and hot chocolate machine, affectionately named JOE by the staff was brilliant and cleaned and filled regularly. The hotel was very reasonably priced for such a fantastic location, just off fifth avenue. So central and easy walking distance to all the midtown attractions and great restaurants. It was close to bus and metro stops. and just round the corner from a hop on hop off bust stop.
