"Comfortable & Quiet - Great Location"
Great location on 5th and 55th. Walking distance to great shopping, central park and some great restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were SO quiet, which is great in NY. They were almost too quiet so we requested a fan from housekeeping. They only had a humidifier that didn't help but at least they tried. We managed to sleep well as we were so tired from being out and about. My only complaint would be the shower. There was no slop to the marble surrounding the bathtub. As a result, when taking a shower, the water would hit the flat marble surface and pour out on to the floor. We tried to be extra careful and still managed to soak several towels. All and all, the Peninsula is very nice and the staff is willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable.

"Awesome Second Visit"
Loved the location so much I came back a second time. Had VIP Access, so upgraded to larger room on 21st floor. Roomy, spacious, comfortable, well-kept, with convenient kitchenette. Easy access to subway and busses. Steps away from many eating places and cafes. I'd come back here a third time if the opportunity arose.

"Great choice in New York City"
We go to NYC every summer for a four day weekend and will usually stay at Hilton (midtown) or Sheraton. The Omni Berkshire is so much better. Lobby is quiet, rooms are spacious and the bathroom are huge by NYC hotel standards. Great choice......highly recommend!

"Gorgeous Facilities Central to Midtown Manhattan"
Let me start by saying that we have a high standard for hotel rooms. We've stayed in some pretty incredible places during our travels, so we can be a tough couple to impress. However, the amenities, the staff, the food, all were absolutely on point at the Langham. As others have mentioned, the Duxiana bed and deep tub with Grohe fixtures were highlights. I went for a spa treatment on the fourth day after my legs, not accustomed to so much walking, were really starting to get painfully strained. The fourth level is devoted to a lovely spa with showers, steam rooms, sauna, snacks, a chill room, and hot tub. I enjoyed the sauna and hot tub after my (heavenly) deep tissue massage. It was exactly the refreshing experience I needed to get back into enjoying my trip. I do wish I would have known that you can have access to the spa for $50/day without a spa treatment, we did not learn about this until the last day, and I certainly would have used the spa more if I'd known. The staff were all extremely helpful and courteous without being snotty. We've been to other 5 star places where if you are not dressed to nines, you are sort of treated as second-class guests. We didn't get that vibe at all from the Langham, thankfully, and by the end of the trip we were thinking of the Langham as our NYC home-away-from-home.
