Ok to sleep at for a few hoursPosted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: Location was convenient for our purpose
Cons: Only designate no-smoking room if it's truly no-smoking (i.e, doesn't smell like smoke).
Convenient location as were traveling from Philadelphia area to State College late at night and wanted a place to sleep for a few hours before completing our drive the next morning. Location was right on 322, about an hour away from our destination. Pulled in at about 1AM. Receptionist was very friendly. When we got to our "no smoking" room, it smelled from both smoke and perfume to cover it up. We told the receptionist so we didn't get charged for smoking, but were too tired to request a change of room. Otherwise the room was fine for our purpose. Didn't try the breakfast as we planned to have breakfast with our son at State College, but they did offer a voucher that you could use next door at some type of eatery.

Not a complete complementary breakfastPosted Sep 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
We booked a non-smoking room and we did get it, however, when we entered the hotel the first thing we smelled was cigarette smoke. we stayed on the first floor of non-smoking rooms but cigarette smoke filled the hallways. We booked this hotel because of the complementary breakfast they state they have on the website. It really isn't a complementary breakfast. The staff gives you $2.50 towards your breakfast at the pancake house next door. This isn't bad unless you don't have the time for a sit down breakfast with a waiter.

What you see is what you getPosted Aug 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a perfectly good, comfortable, quiet, safe place to crash. The relative lack of amenities on the property and in the surrounding neighborhood did not bother me much because I was only there for two nights, and I was spending most of my waking hours at events a half-hour away in any event. A longer stay might have been a different matter. If there is one thing they could do to improve the room, it would be to add electrical outlets. I found only one outlet that was not already in use in an accessible location in the main space. That was manageable since I happened to be alone on this occasion, but with two (or more) people, it could have been a problem.

Don't believe it is non-smokingPosted Jul 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
We moved to this Econolodge from one that only had smoking rooms. We paid for a non-smoking room, and when we got there, it was like a truck-driver stop musty with cigarette smoke. Hey, it's in the middle of nowhere, so we can't expect miracles. It was barely satisfactory for one night. Bathroom was fairly clean at least. The 'free' breakfast' was a $2.50 voucher for the pancake house next door. I suggest you go to McDonalds down the road instead.
