Old but CleanPosted Sep 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Was here for Racing/Fair in next door Port Royal, expensive for the quality probably due to the fair and Penn State home game but great location/clean room perfect for this trip Older property but clean condition I would stay here again if coming back to Port Royal

Great for a quick stay,very basicPosted Jun 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very close to my destination, however the room and bath very dated. It was clean, but very basic. Price was about right for the room.l

Not bad! The room was not cleaned fully. The hairdryer was just a decoration as it was not able to be used. But overall it was okay.

located near a grocery store and next door to a fast food restaurant. Phone did not work for local calls.

Clean but badly in need of renovationsPosted Oct 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at this hotel because it was the closest hotel available to State College on a Penn State football Saturday. The room was clean and the area felt very safe, but the rooms were incredibly old and the entire hotel feels like it should be renovated--or demolished and replaced with a new hotel. The heat worked, the air conditioning didn't. The thermostat was so old I have never seen one that style before! No fan in bathroom, so the place was a muggy sauna as soon as we took showers. Select this hotel only as a last resort. That's what we did!

I might have been better off driving home in the middle of the night.

Too farPosted Sep 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Could not get a clear answer on where this hotel was located until my GPS told me it was 43 miles from penn state. With traffic it took 1 hour 45 minutes. While staff was friendly and the room was clean it was way over priced. Especially since it was in the middle of nowhere. Shouldn't be listed as near penn state.

Overpriced hotel in the middle of nowhere with little in the way of amenities
my stay at budget innPosted Apr 23, 2012
The first nite the 4 of us were unable to get the wi-fi to work, the desk didnt know what to do. My husband and I had a king room and there was only 1 (ONE) towel in the room. The air conditioner was high and i was unable to see to push any buttons, husband had to do that for me. The little packets of shampoo were next to impossible to open even when i was dry and tried to open them before i got in. The staff were extremely nice, just had those few issues...well and that who ever was at the desk didnt seem to know what to do about things and were always on the phone with someone about it ....and no outlets near the bed anywhere, I would have liked one.
