Nice place to stayPosted Feb 26, 2011 on Hotels.com
We were very satisfied during our stay - nice, clean room, helpful staff, nothing to complain about. Next to the hotel is a tram stop, takes about 20 min to the city center.

Too Far From MetroPosted Dec 5, 2010 on Hotels.com
This was a fine hotel, but it was farther out (2 miles didn't sound like much when we were booking) and we had trouble using the trams. Unlike the metro, we didn't find the trams user-friendly as far as which one went where. We were unable to take advantage of the breakfast, since we had an early train and breakfast did not open till 7:30. This seemed to be a trend this trip to Italy - I seem to remember breakfasts usually available at 6 or 6:30 and now they are later. They did have a free computer with internet which was great, however.

Good valuePosted Nov 3, 2010
It was good. Big complaint is that the room got stuffy and the control to cool it down or turn on the fan didn't work. But we didn't ask them to fix it and just opened the window. In general, the service was good and the hotel is in good shape. It's not downtown, but it was easy enough to get there from the hotel. It was a good value.

Great value in MilanPosted Jul 26, 2010
Antares Hotel Accademia was clean, comfortable and in a location which we found excellent. Just a short 20 min tram ride to the centre of Milan, with the tram stop right at the front door. We had a triple room with 3 single beds. This accomodated 2 adults and a teenager easily. Staff were friendly and efficient. Tariff was very reasonable. We would stay there again, and recommend it.

a little out from centroPosted Oct 16, 2008 on Hotels.com
A little away from the centre but well worth the inconvenience. There is a shopping centre right opposite with a supermarket to dye for. If you enjoy the odd glass of wine visit the supermarket’s wine bar, it is amazing with a large glass of wine costing 80 cents and the choice will blow you away.

Would definitely recommendPosted Jul 4, 2008
We arrived very late at the hotel, but the staff was so nice and we were even able to eat a late dinner in the restaurant that night. The continental breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Only a bus ride away from the Metro and Terminal.

Average hotel - ideal for San SiroPosted May 6, 2008
Disappointed with our stay (2nd visit) as the weather was at 23.5c and the hotel was hot and uncomfortable ....they refused to switch on the air conditioning because of cost. Also booked a taxi and they forgot to tell us it had arrived. The taxi charged us for a 8 minute wait and the hotel staff refused to do anything about it. Breakfast is well below average but hotel room very clean. Tram right outside so even though hotel is far out, easy to get to Milan centre. Walking distance to San Siro.

Very reasonable.Posted Apr 2, 2008
Request a room away from the main road if possible, even with the window closed it was very noisy. Apart from that, everything else was fine. Helpul staff, average food, some nice wines & good bar snacks. 15mins walk from Fiera Milano.
