Milan as a city isn't as walkable as many other Italian cities (like Venice, Florence, Rome)... so location was really key. Hotel Bogart was an OK room for the price, it had all the basic necessities and the breakfast was actually much better than what I was expecting... but the location is just so bad. The hotel recommends 3 modes of transport just to get from the airport... that was pretty outrageous... so we looked into other options... but there really was no IDEAL way of getting there. Equally, the easiest way to get to Milan Central Station... was getting a taxi. All in all, the room wasn't bad at all, the hotel staff nice, the price decent, the breakfast - wonderful. But when travelling location is everything, and it was just really really inconvenient.
