“close to airport near to nothing”

hotel is clean and keep up. Pillows are either to fat to use two but too thin to use only one. I thought breakfist buffet was included. Not so, cost 5 euros each. Eggs runie with cheese and cold. Dinner menu does not explain each dinner in full and can be pricey. Two good restruants within 300 meters. Free use of internet on thier computers (2). Shower a little tight but plenty of hot water. TV"s do not have close caption. Bar is clean and you have to have front desk call for bartender, they have 2 to 3 jobs in hotel. Cannot cool room as AC was off for winter on 13 Oct. Staff very helpful. Suttle provided without cost to and from airport.

Area recommendations

Take train to Milan, only 30 minute ride with no other stops.

“Rude Employee”

The ladies who were working the front desk when we arrived were very helpful, very professional. The Italian man was not...sorry I did not get his name. He did not identify the shuttle bus for us early on the morning we were leaving, and we missed the first shuttle. When we left, he moved our bags outside on the trolley beside the bus but did not put them in the hold of the bus which had been opened by the bus driver, just dropped them on the ground. He just turned and took the trolley back inside the hotel. We had not been rude to him in any way! Even the bus driver could not believe it! We gave the bus driver the tip we would have given him. The young man who drove the courtesy van from the airport the day before, had to quickly go inside and vacuum the floor. The bar at 6:00PM was staffed by only one man who was doing his best to handle about 16 people who wanted drinks and food. Appears they do not have sufficient staff to run this hotel properly and the management should realize this has been noticed by their customers.

Area recommendations

This location is obviously good for proximity to the airport. The shuttle van can get you there in 15 minutes.

“Repeat visitor”

I have stayed here three times and will stay again. The hotel is excellent. Good value for the money. It has a good location but is a little hard to find if you are arriving by car. The free airport shuttle uses different types of busses depending on the time of day, and does not always have enough luggage space to take all waiting passengers. Fortunately in the morning it tends to pick up at this hotel first, before going to the nearby Holiday Inn Express (?) to pick up there. If you need the airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel at a time other than morning and evening, you will need to call the hotel and they will send the shuttle for you.

Area recommendations

I used the airport without going into Milan. However, the Lake District Northwest of here is very beautiful, particularly arount Stresa.

“Convenient hotel adjoining Malpensa Airport.”

We had to wait for a while for the hotel van. When we got to the hotel checkin was efficient. The room was ready, clean and pleasant. The Internet connection worked very well. The restaurant was satisfactory.

“Total lack of service............”

Very nice hotel but service totally lacking. Stayed at hotel for shuttle to airport but found out after checked in that shuttle would only leave at 0600 hrs but had a 0620 hr flight; hotel staff totally unconcerned and said taxi's are available. Wanted to take a sight seeing trip into Milan for the day but front desk unable to make any recommendations other than to go to the airport and check there?? Very expensive with no service????????????

“service needs attention”

Upon arrival at Milan/Malpensa airport, we called hotel for a courtesy van and were told they would send a van to pick us up within 10 minutes. Over an hour later - after a 2nd call, the courtesy vehicle finally arrived. Our room was comfortable and appeared clean but smelled as if a dog had urinated in one area of the room.

“Helpful staff, quiet location”

Located between terminal 1 and 2, in a residential area, its a little hard to find (look for the Holiday Inn sign), but quiet. Helpful front desk. Reserve a spot on the next day's airport shuttle, and they'll make sure there's enough seats even if they have to bring a tour bus (they share a shuttle with the Holiday Inn).
