Great location: terrible roomPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: Is location
I thought I had booked into a hotel, only to find it was a room in a "prison complex" room was dirty, had a terrible smell from the kitchen and bathroom, central heating which couldn't be adjusted. After I complained about no hot water after the first shower I was advised it only had enough hot water for one bath or two very quick showers. One of the worst hotel experiences after having stayed in more than a thousand hotel rooms over the past thirty years.

Wish I had stayed longer. Perfect location!Posted May 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
My friend and I booked this apartment for our one-night stay between Florence and Paris. It was perfect! Great location right next to the Duomo. Plenty of bars, restaurants and not to mention shopping nearby. Accomodations were great and the jetted tub was an added bonus.

Buyer BewarePosted Nov 17, 2009 on Hotels.com
We spent 3 nights at the Glamour Apartments in November '09 and have very mixed feelings about this place. When we first arrived, the taxi couldn't find it and dropped us off a few blocks away. It took considerable time to find the place. When we got there, there was no one available to let us into the apartment. It took about 20 minutes for someone to show up and he told us that he was unable to contact us so he didn't know what time we were arriving. The apartment he accompanied us to was shabby and run down and the wifi and faxphone worked sporadically, but poorly. The place was very well located and the two guys who run them are very nice and seem to be well-intentioned, but the place was a dump. After two days, the wifi stopped working and the phone was barely working, so we contacted the owner/manager (Marco) and he came over immediately and moved us to a much better apartment in his other building, directly across from the Duomo. That place was clean, new and fantastic. Everything was spotless and worked! It's just unfortunate we couldn't have stayed there for all 3 nights. Then I'd have only positive things to say about this place. So if you do choose to stay at the Glamour Apartments, be sure to find out ahead which of the buildings you're going to be in and which apartment. As well, there's no concierge on duty so if you have to book restaurants or museums, you're on your own. Very challenging if you don't speak Italian.

Outstanding locationPosted Sep 9, 2009 on Hotels.com
Hotel is very close to the Duomo, in a really convenient and good area. It's a private road, so you may not be able to find it that easily using a GPS. Makes a great base for exploring Milan.

A little tiredPosted Sep 3, 2009 on Hotels.com
While the location is spectacular, and the apartments are very large, there is absolutely no service other than cleaning. Also, it was quite complicated to get in. For this price, I would recommend one of the surrounding 4 star hotels in the area

Fabulous Location in MilanPosted Aug 13, 2009 on Hotels.com
We absolutely loved this hotel, like an apartment, so included a neat little kitchen area. New modern furnishings, very clean, and a spectacular view of the Duomo, about three blocks away. Easy to get there by train. Easy walking distance to the Galleria and Via della Spiga shopping. Lots of great little restaurants. Breakfast vouchers were included for a little place right around the block. Very yummy. You really feel like you are right in the heart of Milan. The person greeting us was great, went out of his way to help us make dinner plans. Great place!! We think a good deal for this area.

Home away from home in the center of MilanoPosted Jul 3, 2009
Great location, great place for anyone who does not like to stay in impersonal hotels with many rooms. Each room is in fact an apartment of its own. 2 minutes from Duomo. Managers (Stefano and Marco) are really helpful. Simple, clean, nice. For breakfast you are given a 7 EUR voucher to go to a panini place just downstairs, and it is one of the best paninis ever + wonderful coffee. We stayed in Fiorichiari: located on the 2nd floor of the building there was some little noise from the street (but not much, as the windows are on pedestrian zone). Living room + bedroom+ 2 bathrooms and a walk in closet; very nice and spacious even through the bedroom is quite small. Tiffany was booked, but if ever we are to come back, we'll make sure to book well ahead, in Tiffany appartment. We were let in just to have a look and it is a-ma-zing. ALso located on the 2nd floor.
