I ADORE Villa Toretta!Posted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel is very beautiful and our suite as well as the staff was amazing. I do agree its a bit out of the center of Milan its and easy 15 min. ride on the Metro Purple line right to the Duomo. We had a king suite that was huge with high domed ceilings and a beautiful bath with huge tub, separate shower & lovely Etro bath products. The room and bath was immaculate and its a 17th century villa that was redone with great care right on a lovely park. The restaurant is very delicious with fresh local cheeses and breads with a caring staff. Angelica in the restaurant is especially exceptional as was Ludovick at the front desk. I cannot wait to go back and highly recommend the hotel for an intimate old world luxurious Italian setting.

Excellent hotel away from downtownPosted Feb 23, 2015
The hotel itself is fantastic - the converted Convent is beautiful - very high ceilings with original wood beams - we also had a large living room - incredible value for what we paid. the grounds are also very nice and the restaurant deserves its Michelin star - we had 1 great dinner there and went downtown the other 2 nights. The area around the hotel is rather industrial - there is a park which we did not visit - we went to shopping mall across the street - not much going on there. the Bignami metro stop is about 5-10 min walk from hotel - safe during day but not a good idea coming back late at night - we paid 23 Euros for a cab ride on a friday night from the Duomo back to the hotel.

Wohnen im italienischen Schloss.Posted Jan 19, 2015 on Hotels

Everything was simply great. Location is good, next to big shopping center with food court. Metro 10 min away walk.

Generally good but far from city centerPosted Oct 17, 2014 on Hotels
Hotel atomosphare is good and enjoyed our time. If you want to enjoy the tourism or city&night life, this hotel is not recommended because a little bit far from there. free wi-fi is available but waek so we needed to log in every time we want to access to the internet. Bignami is the nearest metro station by 15 minutes walk.
