Close to the metro but not a pleasant stay

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: It's next to the M2 line and the internet was free and reliable.
Cons: The staff could be less rude and obtrusive, breakfast needs to be better supplied, furniture and air conditioning needs to be repaired.
Location: Next to the M2 metro line, you'll need to actually go into the city in order to find restaurants, other things to do. Metro is convenient/cheap tho
I was not expecting very much for booking this three-star hotel, but I at least expected working air conditioning, food to be available in the included breakfast, and staff who weren't rude or obtrusive. Even with low expectations I was disappointed. The furniture was broken and the light switches didn't work, neither did the air conditioning despite 30 degree temperatures. All that was available during breakfast was dry cereal (no milk), rock-hard rolls, and sometimes coffee. The fruit, eggs, cold cuts and other food that had been present at one point during the morning never got replenished. The breakfast attendant was present - but instead of making sure there was food and drink he spent the morning badgering me about showing me the free hotel amenities that didn't exist. There was no information booklet in the room about the hotel, how to use the phone, nearby services, how to use the TV, or anything else. I was completely at a loss. On the plus side, the bathroom was spacious and clean and there was plenty of closet space. The M2 metro line is also just outside the hotel so it's convenient to get most places in the city.

Expect a budget hotel not a four star.

Posted Oct 10, 2012
Pros: Close to Metro
Cons: Was not 4 star.
Location: Not particularly interesting.
Wasn't impressed at all really. Twice my room wasn't ready for me. Twice I asked for an alarm call and never got it. My shower door fell off. Breakfast buffet was fairly small. You couldn't get Wi-Fi in your room. Don't know how this rated as a four star hotel. If it was a budget hotel then yeah it's a cheap place to crash and I wouldn't have been disappointed but my dad and brother were staying in another 4 star hotel which was amazing. If I can say one thing positive it's right by a metro stop which was convenient.
