the hotel is great for people who are on a budget. the rooms are clean, small but clean, we had a balcony, and the front desk was very helpful and friendly. overall, it was a great experience and when i go back to milan i won't hesitate staying there again.

Good stay in Milan, close to rests., city centre

Nothing special but a nice place to stay. We were on there for one night and the hotel served its purpose. You're a 15 minute walk down Corso Monforte and then Corso Vittorio Emanuele II to the Duomo and the heart of the city. The staff were nice and helpful when needing to print out our boarding passes. Breakfast is good as well, typical for the Italian hotels (yogurt, cappuccino, cereal, croissants). We got a good deal on the hotel so it was worth it.

NOT a good idea

We booked based on location and walk ease from the train station. The walk wasn't bad but the directions given made it next to impossible to find. It is NOT in a desirable area or location for tourist. No air conditioning or screens on the windows made our last night in Italy a complete nightmare. The walk to sites was a drag. The staff at the front desk was very nice. Having someone there 24 hours was good. Not recommended. Maybe for a business trip...nothing more.
