Okay hotelPosted May 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location was convenient, less than a 5 minute walk to central station. There is a metro entrance to the central station very close by that's closed at night, but handy at other times. The hotel itself is pretty standard, a little aged. When we checked in, they asked if we'd prefer a bigger room. We said yes, but the room we got was very tight. Made me wonder what the other room was like. The room was again standard with a firm mattress which I liked, and older furniture. The bathroom was nice, clean and modern. Overall, not bad.

Nice hotel nice location, rude staffPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness were all good.
Cons: The attitude of all front of house staff. The worst (by far) of any of the 6 hotels that we stayed at in Italy.
Location: It's perfect for upmarket shopping and visits to cathedrals, etc.
The hotel is nice and in a good location. All front of house staff were insolent. Our greeting was brusque and terse. When I asked for a city map the receptionist waved a hand behind him and pointed in the general direction of the maps. At no time did a single staff member offer an adequate level of help, right down to the audible groan from the last one when we asked for a taxi to be called.

Nice Hotel and enjoyable stayPosted Apr 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was a little hard to find due to the construction areas outside but once it was found, it was really convenient. Located close to the Metro station and walking distance from the Central train station. The only down side was that the super market was quite far as the hotel did not provide a kettle or mineral water, we had to go buy our own water and the distance to carry the bottles back... Too far... abt 10 mins walk. It however is located next to a really nice eatery called "Nico, Quick Bite" we stayed there 2 nights and had both our dinners there. Overall, a good stay.

100 m to Milano Centrale stationPosted Feb 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Clean, well-located hotel on a diagonal street that radiates off of the piazza in front of Milano C.le. Management was always trying to get us to upgrade for "just a few extra euro", but we were completely content with our room. Modern bathroom which features chic Italian design [at least for this price range], and a comfortable bed. Hotel was quiet and couldn't hear other guests. We had to leave early in the morning and so did not have chance to try the breakfast on offer.

Close to Central StationPosted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: One big plus was the proximity to the train station. The hotel was very close to the train station.
Location: Central train station is close by but I had to walk a long distance to Corso Buenos Aires. It might be better to take the subway, bus or taxi there.
I absolutely fell in love with the people working at the hotel. They were accommodating and kind. I didn't like that my room smelled like cigarette smoke or that I could hear everything in the hallway or in adjoining rooms.

Great location if traveling by trainPosted Jan 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location for using the train or subway since hotel is at the subway line hub. Staff was helpful. Room was upgraded for free although since checkin time was 1 pm and we arrived at 11 am, we could checkin early for 20 euros extra. The room was newly remodeled and comfortable, although noisy during the day while remodeling was going on down the hall. But we were not in the room very much during the day.

Want warm water? DON'T STAY HEREPosted Oct 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Avoid this one if you want basic comforts. After 20 minutes of running the shower to get some hot water to come up, I gave up. Instead the mini-bar was warm but empty EXCEPT for the form to charge you for what you got from the bar. The best was the fellow at the reception desk at 5am who blamed no hot water on me since I didn't call to complain! No apologies, no offer to make me a cup of coffee to make up for no hot water. I would have been better off sleeping with the homeless in the Stazione Centrale, the homeless are nicer.
