This was by far the best hotel we stayed in on our 10 day trip to Italy. some features included: stocked, free mini fridge, free alcoholic drink on first night of arrival, English speaking staff, bath robes, bath slippers, rubber ducks, free breakfast, free coffee & tea any hour, secure entrance and exit, close to entral train station. Would definitely stay here again.

Well-appointed, comfortable, great locationPosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were delighted with Hotel Berna and would certainly stay there again. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel was well-appointed, well-maintained, and comfortable. Our room was lovely, on the small side but very comfortable with nice furniture and a great modern bathroom. One of those rooms where you instantly like it when you first see it. Loved the shower with the option of a hand-held wand (which all European showers seem to have -- love it!) and a 'rainshower' shower head above. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options including fresh carrots and juicer for making your own juice. The location could not be beat: 5 minute walk from the train station and 2 minute walk to the subway. Definitely recommend Hotel Berna!

I liked the hotel very much -no showy but very comfortable, and I slept very well in my little single bed. great coffee in the morning downstairs on my way to train station.

Great hotel close to the stationPosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Close to station. Very good 'medium sized' hotel enabling it to provide just the right level of personal service.
Cons: Hard to find fault without being very picky.
Location: Not really walking distance close to any of the main Milano attractions but close to efficient get-you-anywhere mass transit system.
Quite close to Milano's very interesting station. Short walk and easy to find. Reception staff very helpful and courteous. Room was modern, clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet is amazing. Even the room cleaning staff greeted you cheerfully.

Good location, but breakfast is priceyPosted Nov 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location near the train station was good for my purposes. I chose the option of not including breakfast, which was 12 euros. I walked five minutes down the street and got a very good breakfast for half that!
