Very nice hotel, with well maintained garden. The staff was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was excellent, excellent food, wine and service. Definitely a place to visit again...

Property is beautiful. Wood paneling and eclectic decorations. A little bit of a walk to stores and other restaurants. We were fortunate enough to have the room with a terrace directly over the front door. Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of foods. Coffee is served by the staff, so if you want a second cup you need to flag them down.

The young man at bar was the best and very helpful. Spoke great english and very down to earth. Staff is top notch. 5 star Hotel in every aspect.

Most wonderful hotel to stay in. Feels like visiting family yet at the most luxurious of hotels! Cannot find a fault with anything about this hotel and just need to find an excuse to visit again.

Lovely setting, traditional hotel but lacked some facilities for example coffee making facilities in the room. We used their free bikes but are very dated and need attention

The reception staff were amazing! In the other hand in the dinning room was a lady wearing a mask that was not helpful at all and was kinda rude.

The most friendly and attentive staff I have ever encountered. They are always so kind and willing to help. There isn’t anything they won’t help you with. The Derby Grill is excellent. Our server, Roberto, was OUTSTANDING! The bartenders, staff, front desk, everyone was stellar. Would definitely stay again given the opportunity. The down side?? The stairs and elevators are a little confusing! But not a big deal. Thanks!

Nice hotel, but it is not easy moving inside
Beautiful hotels, with fantastic decoration, very clean, excellent breakfast. Mattress are old and not comfortable. As it is an old hotel , moving inside is not easy. Receptionist should be more flexible at check in time when hotel is empty, which was my case.

This was my 2n stay at HDLV and it was as delghtful as my first. The staff is top notch and were always available to help. Staying at HDLV is a vacation in and of itself!

pretty but not perfect
Lovely hotel with beautiful lobby and dining room. We got upgraded but that meant to be moved to villa next door and the room looked like it had seen better days.... very surprised by old pillows- hard as a rock AND rips on the pillow cases.... that's not what you expect from "luxury hotel". Breakfast was disappointing as well, very little food served by server - even if I wanted to take all 4 mini mozzarellas left(!) I wouldn't get them... Will we stay again? Sure we will but in the main building, requesting new pillows, etc... and without breakfast.

Great experience.
We loved this hotel. Very well located, just 10 minutes walk from the center of town. The staff super nice and kind, from the front desk to the housekeeping and the restaurant. We had a great experience. The bed was very comfortable and the room always clean and spacious.

Great hotel and outstanding hospitality.
It was a fabulous hotel with simply the best service. They hotel staff are just so warm and accommodating. Maurizio (and his colleague in the morning)at the front desk went out of their way. Breakfast was outstanding. The rooms are quirky old style ostentatious but very comfortable. Shame it was just a night stop to Tuscany and we didn’t stay longer.

I was taken aback because it felt like the description was simply not correct- this property is NOT located in a park. It is, in fact, right at the corner of a VERY busy and VERY noisy intersection. It’s not really a big problem and can be dealt with but I feel like they should be upfront about it. I also could not locate their “garden”. Maybe I didn’t look hard enough. Either way. Please be honest about things. Thank you.

Beautiful room and hotel. Breakfast was very nice. Tried a few things from the lunch and dinber menu, it was ok but not what I would expect from a 1-star Michelin restaurant. My favorite was the strawberries with the fiordilatte ice cream.

Hotel nice but indifferent service.
Nice hotel with real character, in a good location 15 mins walk from city centre and free parking. On the negative side staff were unhelpful, and certain elements had a somewhat tired appearance.

Delightful place to stay
Hotel de la Ville is a classic hotel. Wonderful environment, helpful and pleasant staff with amazing food and wine. Take your time to relax in the old school charm of this hotel located beside the famous park in Monza. It's always a pure joy to stay here.

Nice hotel in a good location, close to the park and a 15 mins walk to the centre. Great view of the Royal villa from the balcony. Breakfast however was disappointing and not worth the extra cost.

The staff are friendly and extraordinarily helpful. This is true of the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff. The accommodations are very comfortable and the art work throughout the property helps you feel immersed in the local culture.
