“staff was courtious and very caring”
The breakfast menu was very good. All the staff made you feel at home, and was very helpful with all the questions asked.
“Basic accommodations, but good price for its location”
The hotel itself isn't really much to write about: older building (built in the 60's, I believe) unimpressive exterior, small lobby and dining area, tiny bedroom and bathroom (warning: you _will_ flood the bathroom; shower curtain is this three-paned contraption that doesn't work quite right). Also, the wi-fi internet service is expensive (around 10 euro per hour), and the signal is pretty poor (couldn't use it from the second floor). But the hotel is clean, well-maintained, and convenient to everything in Milan. It's located next to a subway station, and you'll get around town pretty quickly and easily. It also has free parking, which was a big plus for me (I was driving through Europe). The front desk personnel were a mixed bag; two of the three staff members I met were quite helpful, while one was a bit of an ass. Overall, I'd recommend it, particularly if you can live without the bells and whistles provided by higher class hotels.
