“Very good choice in Milan”

This is a very good option to visit the city, It is in an excellent location, about 10 blocks from Milan Central Station. Also if you arrive by plane you can take the bus at the airport (Linate or Malpensa) to Central station and save some money. Subway is at front door to conect other city points. Duomo is few stations from the hotel and also you can walk if you like. The people at front desk is very good, everybodey speaks english. Rooms ar confortable and clean. Breakfast is also good. Tip: ask for a high floor. Streets are noisy to stay on first floor.

“Great location and value!”

About a 10 minute walk from the central train station and a Metro stop right outside the door. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was basic but clean and comfortable.

“Convenient Location”

Metro Red Line is right out the front door - just 4 stops away from the Duomo. Area around hotel is safe, residential and surrounded by many shops and restaurants within 2-3 block area. For my entire stay of 9 nights, the TV in-room Internet service never worked but it was no problem accessing one of the two free PCs off the lobby. Buffet breakfast is vast but needs more variety - same thing every day. Front desk staff were outstanding and so helpful.

“Excellent hotel located in the heart of Buenos Aires - shopping district!”

This was my husband and I first time in Milan and I have to say we did have a tough time with the first hotel we went to (It was Hotel Ritter close to Il Duomo and was really a hole!). In comparison, Hotel Galles was so much better: the staff was really nice, helping us with everything (from map to see some of the monuments to calling a cab to go to the airport), the room was large for European standard and the bathroom was spotless (and in marble!!!). We ate at the restaurant on the mezzanine and although the service was slow (there was only 1 waiter for the whole restaurant), the food was delicious and you could see that the waitress was trying really hard to satisfy all of us at once!

“I found Galles Milan a very nice hotel.”

The personnel was outstanding in answering questions and very accommodating. The hotel was nice enough to call for restaurant reservations and for cabs. Also, the hotel is in an ideal location with the subway right next to the hotel. The continental breakfast was a feast with many different types of breakfast food. The room was small but very clean and decorated nicely.

“cENTRALLY LOCATED”

We loved the shopping district and everything about the hotel but the bacon was raw and the eggs runny at the b-fast. Everything else (service, etc) was exemplary.

“Great hotel in a great location”

Hotel Galles was a great hotel with a very nice (and English-speaking) staff. The location was great too -- next to a subway stop and only about a 10 minute walk from the Centrale train station. I'd stay there again.

“Conveient to all of Milan's attractions”

The hotel is wonderful. The staff is professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom/ shower and the amenities were great. The only concern is their restaurant. The first course was good but not the main course. Didn't bother with dessert. The steak was tough and the fish wasn't cooked enough. I'd suggest eating at a restaurant off premise.
