Excellent location, cheap and confortable enough for a short vacation.Posted May 22, 2011
Very close to 'Piazza del Duomo' and 'Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II', there you can find many things to do and catch a tourist bus to go around the city. The Hotel service is ok, the AC is turned off at night and for some people that don't like to feel hot like me may be uncomfortable, but if you call the front desk and request it, they may turn it on for you for a while. I recommend it if you are in a budget, if you want a nice and confortable hotel, this is not the place for you.

Not a 4* experiencePosted Aug 23, 2010
The Hotel was a great disappointment- it has no restaurant and although it has a bar it was not functional. We asked at Reception if the bar was open and was told it was but when we tried to purchase a drink we were asked for our room number so the barman could collect drinks from our minibar to serve us!! The hotel staff were not helpful, their explanation for the lack of service was that it was August and everything is closed. Indeed Milan is very quiet in August and it was a good 15 minutes walk to the nearest open bar. The Manhattan Restaurant recommended by the hotel was fantastiv- great food and friendly staff- if only they ran a hotel. By Britsh, or other European/American standards Hotel Lloyd is not worthy of 4*. It's interior is dated and it does not provide good service nor the amenities you would expect in a 4* hotel.

Convenient locationPosted Apr 28, 2010 on Hotels.com
Very nice location. Shops and boutiques nearby and duomo was just a few minutes walk. Metro station and tram stops also close by. Beds were a bit small and hard but overall had a pretty good weekend in milan.

Excellent location; shame about the noisePosted Apr 19, 2010
Perfect location, 5 minutes walk from the Duomo, near a tram and metro stop (Missori). There was building work going on behind the hotel which disturbed our sleep but wasn't the end of the world for us. Room was large, clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. If you are looking for a supermarket, there is a Carrefour about 10 mins walk away. Turn right out of the hotel and then take the first right turn.
