Fantastic stay at Hotel Residence Aurora
Hotel Residence Aurora is a fantastic place to stay if either visiting Milan, Monza or the surrounding areas. We booked it to see family in Palazzolo and the hotel is fantastic; the apartment we booked is huge (plenty of space for us and our baby). Very clean, very modern design and feel whilst retaining a lot of Italian character. Reception welcome was very friendly and communication before our visit was perfect. Located close to the town centre + there is a fantastic ice cream shop round the corner in the town square next to the church. Easy access to the motorways and only a 5-10 minute walk to the train station where you can get into central Milan in half an hour. Highly recommmended!

Good family residence hotel
The property is very nice. The only thing that we didn’t like was that the fridge had a piece broken from the door. It wasn’t a big deal but it made a bit of a difference when we were trying to maximize the small space. We were a family of four, so it was otherwise perfect for the need. We were there to care for a family member that was having surgery. The people spoke English and were very accommodating and very nice. I would definitely stay again.

Spacious - friendly welcome - handy train to milan
Really pleased with our choice of hotel. Had a hire car and being able to park at the hotel essential. Friendly welcome and nice spacious apartment in hotel set back from th Road. Really clean and modern. Train cost 2.20 to milan and runs every half hour to milan and took 23 mins. 10 min walk to station, Highly recommended ( also great gelteria 2 mins from hotel)

Great Stay!
I found the check in process very quick and easy. I also arrived by car and found it easy to park underneath the hotel. When in the room I found it to be clean. Had no problems while staying at the hotel and would definitely stay again. The bed wasn’t that comfortable but for one night was fine. I also found check out to be quick and painless.

Not close to Milan
This place is nowhere near Milan city if you're travelling by public transport. Also it's at least 15 minutes walk from the train station. Other than that the apartment for spacious, few minor maintenance issues. The Wi-Fi is useless and no help was forthcoming.

Spacious Apartments
Stayed at the Residence Aurora for two nights. Very spacious and nice apartments, would stay there again. There is a train (every 30 minutes or so) that gets you to the centre of Milan in about 30 minutes. The train station is less than a ten minutes walk from the hotel. There is a little supermarket next to the hotel, as well as some restaurants. The suburb where the hotel is has a village-kind feel to it - people are very friendly but most do not speak a lot of english/french/spanish. Parking is for free at the hotel, so we left the car at the hotel and avoided the Milan traffic jams.

Late Night Check in Impossible
Very disappointed with the first night because we arrived late and when we were able to contact them, they told us that we could not collect the key until the following day. They directed us to a different hotel, which was very seedy but we had to pay 79 euros and not able to get a refund for our lost first night. Now looking for compensation.

I stayed in the hotel and I was very happy with everything, the staffs were very helpful with all the in formations we asked , the kitchen had to be cleaned before we checked out but everything other thing was done by the cleaners .

Fourteen day road trip.
The hotel was suffice for location as we were able to park the car and take the local subway metro and buses. Staff were very friendly and the rooms for a short stay were good during our fourteen day travel, we stayed in different locations which included Strasbourg France, Milan Italy, Geneva Switzerland, Paris France, Normandy France, Brussels Belgium, Wolfs-burg Germany finishing up in Frankfurt Germany to return home to Canada.

Great small hotel... out of Milan
Hotel is out of Milan. From Cadorna train station take train S4 and get off on Palazzolo Milaneze. 500m walking distance to the hotel. Clean hotel, available shuttle to Carrefour or train station, great customer service, daily housekeeping. I would come back to this hotel. Only minus is distance to the center of Milan... 2.20 Euros for train ticket one way. Internet service excellent.

Very helpful multilingual staff - they ordered a pizza for example - and they are knowledgeable about the local area. Be aware that this hotel is in a suburb, to get to a central Milan train station is a 25 minute ride on the light rail (the station is nearby and the train is very convenient). From door-to-door it took us 1h05 to get to the Santa Maria della Grazie (site of the Last Supper). The room was nicely designed, there was ample on-site parking, plenty of dishes for in-house cooking (but no oven, just a hob and a microwave). Our main complaint is that there were many flashing lights - very irritating when trying to sleep! (on smoke detectors, door lock, electrical panel....)

Beautiful Apartment
This hotel was booked as an overnight stay on our drive back to England from Italy. The apartment was beautiful and modern with a spacious shower and separate large bath which the kids loved. The beds were very comfortable, the balcony lovely and the spacious kitchen included a dishwasher, but no washing machine. The apartment door was a super heavy security door that made us feel very safe. Overall we were very pleased and impressed. The only negative point was that the microwave plug would not fit the socket as it had the newer large pins and the socket was of the old small pin type. Staying in August is not advisable if you want to eat out locally as most of the local shops and restaurants are on holiday. Also our car was too tall for the underground car park with the roof box on, but the staff came up with a solution so that our vehicle was still secure during our stay.

Appartement incroyable, bien situé banlieue Milan
Appartement incroyable, vraiment très très grand, avec trois terrasses, deux chambres, un salon, une cuisine, une salle à manger, deux salles de bains, très bien agencé et décoré. Il manque juste une bouilloire, une cafetière et un micro-ondes dans la cuisine, c'est dommage mais sinon, appartement très luxueux, calme et agréable. Il est situé en périphérie de Milan, dans un petit village sympathique, la gare est située à 10mn à pied, il y a des trains qui mènent au centre de Milan toutes les 20-25mn. C'est un super point de départ pour visiter la région.

non è giusto giudicarlo confrontandolo con un hotel perchè è un residance con appartamenti. si vede un pò il segno del tempo che mi fa pensare a materiali non proprio di prima scelta. nel complesso rapporto qualità prezzo buono, personale cordiale. ottimo per il parcheggio. il frigo faceva un gran rumore e la tv non andava (stando un solo giorno non c'è stata la possibilità pratica di sostituzione). in camera mancavano le abat jour. gli spazi sono ampi e 3 persone possono soggiornarci comodamente
