“good location, bad heating system”

i liked the hotel. it's in a nice location. far from the party scene but close to shopping malls and markets. i chose this hotel based on price and reviews of other travellers. problems: room is too small, NO elevator (we were lucky we were on the first floor), bad heating system (too old and not very efficient), they charge too much for internet access. i liked the breakfast and the room was clean. we had a private bathroom but there were a problem with the hot water for the first night we got there. the hotel staff were very helpful and fixed the problem. by the way, i've been to several hotels all over Italy in the winter and they all seem to have heating problems!! i guess it's because their buildings are too old and some of the hotels were not built to be hotels (used to be dormitories or small appartments). the breakfast was ok. they have some good croissant but other than that, it was just bad coffee, bad juice, cold milk, old bread and the usual butter and jam. the beds are not comfortable and the pillows are very thin. i didnt like that
