Reasonable rate for a 4 star hotelPosted Oct 7, 2013
Friendly and helpful staffs, even lend us a travel plug! Otherwise we would have left with no charged mobile phone and camera!

We recommend this hotel.Posted Sep 16, 2013
Pleasant experience, helpful and courteous staff, convenient location and most important, very comfortable mattress. Although I used earplugs because of the noise from the street, this solved that problem. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

Conveniently located hotelPosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: The service of the staff was great. It was also a bonus to be able to sit out in the courtyard.
Cons: Breakfast service needs to cater better for the volume of guests.
We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a short holiday in Milan. We stayed in a deluxe room, which was stylishly decorated albeit slightly on the small side. The staff were really friendly throughout our stay and there was plenty of information, leaflets and maps regarding activities and attractions in the local area. The location of the hotel is a short (10min) walk from Milan central station and so made it an ideal location for day trips to lake Como or Verona. The area the hotel is in looks a bit run down, with people loitering on the streets and lots of graffiti, which can look intimidating at first, but we never encountered any problems. The breakfast facilities are small compared to the number of guests. Towards the end of breakfast service, fresh fruit was replaced with tinned fruit, which was a massive disappointment, and the selection of pastries also dwindled towards the end of service. we only had one problem on the last day, where breakfast was full and so we had to come back later. Overall this hotel is really good value for money.

Good servicePosted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were very pleased we chose to stay at the Hotel Sanpi Milano. The tranquil central garden setting was the ideal place to have a quiet time at the end of a busy day. The service was very good. The breakfast selection was broad and generous.

A very modern hotel, close to main rail links. Staff very easy to deal with and helpful. The room was small but comfortable. Really nice courtyard for coffee or wine and nibbles

Fantastic service at a great hotelPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Only an 8 Euro ride from the Milano Centrale Station. This hotel is in a great location, the neighbourhood was quiet and the shopping streets are within an easy walk. The room was great- comfy bed, free wifi in the room, air con worked well, we even had a little balcony. The hotel staff very kindly printed out our e-tickets for our flight the next day and also out train tickets. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Milan.

Very central and great for Tourists!Posted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: The staff, breakfast, the rooms and the location.
Location: Being fairly central in Milan there is plenty to do however I would recommend the Duomo and Parco Sempione
Getting from the train station to the hotel was a straightforward walk taking around 10 minutes and that included carrying the suitcases. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff on reception checked in to our rooms and after a quick signature we were on our way up to the rooms to be pleasantly surprised by the rooms themselves. The decor was contemporary and fitted in well with the rest of the hotel and despite being a twin room there was plenty of space. The facilities avaliable worked well including the Satelite TV and the Wi-fi. The bar was reasonable for a hotel bar however there are some not too far from the hotel which are more reasonably priced that being said for the convenience and the friendliness of the barman there are a number of reasons to just stay in the hotel for a drink. Breakfast the next morning was well stocked including a number of fresh pastries and a large selection of drinks.

old European style but outdatedPosted Aug 10, 2013
Cons: Most facilities should be improved, although they keep making repairs.
Location: a little bit far from the central station to walk with luggage. very quiet area and sometimes scary. about 200 meters from metro.
We stayed in a separate villa which had two floors. The garden was pretty, except all the smokers that prevented us from opening the windows. The bath tub was a whirl pool, but it wasn't used for ages and foul sewage came out of the valves. The air conditioning, not reaching the second floor, was not enough, as well as the refrigerator. Breakfast was good, especially the warm vegetables, and the staff were very kind and hardworking. We do not know about the main building, which could differ from the villa.

Slummy area. Breakfast good but very limited menu for dinner with bad service.
