“Great Location!”

Literally steps away from the duomo! Metro is just around the corner too. Great shopping close by, and the major shopping center across the street has a great rooftop terrace facing the duomo. Rooms were very clean with a modern feel. Front desk staff were extremely helpful.

Our stay at Hotel Straf was most enjoyable. fantastic poition, great room and very helpul staff. Even the breakfast was exceptional for Italian standards. We would certaily return.

“Cool and trendy”

This hotel has everything going for it. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar serves great cocktails and has a great atmosphere, especially at night. The room we stayed in was spacious, with a high spec bathroom / wetroom, lots of wardrobe space, plasma tv, safe and minibar. The air conditioning in the room was fantastic, especially in the heat during our stay. The hotel's location could not be any better and you literally walk out of the front doors into La Rinascente department store opposite. The Duomo is less than a minute away and all the shops are nearby. The only drawback would be if you were driving because car access to the hotel is restricted.

“Excellent location and beautiful rooms!”

Had a very pleasant stay! Located across the street from Duomo Cathedral, and next to a multi level department store with 2 restaurants(Italian & Japanese), 2 bars on the 7th floor and snack bar in the basement. The complimentary self served breakfast is very inviting and friendly, featuring quality cold cut ham, sausages, cereal, pastries, fresh fruits and juices! choice of any style of coffee is served at the tables. Hotel staff are friendly and with a smile! No hesitation to stay again!

“Stylin' in Milan”

I was spending two nights alone in Milan before joining the rest of my party. I wanted to be right downtown, close to the Duomo, La Scala, Galleria, and fashion district. This location couldn't have been better. I wanted to spoil myself a little, and this hotel allowed both a reasonalbe price, and plenty of stylish comfort. But it was the staff that made the difference...they were accommodating, helpful, friendly, and had far better English than my Italian. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

“DELIGHTS THE SENSES”

the STRAF is fabulous! minimalism done right. impressive surfaces, create a pared down elegance that is both comfortable, and aesthetically stunning. the hotel staff is accommodating and professional. my room was quiet and clean. the lobby was like an art gallery. only downside was a lack of view... but the incredible location made up for that. i LOVE this place, and will stay there, whenever i find my self in milan!

“Very, Very Cool and Great Location”

This hotel could not have been located in a better place. It was literally steps from the Duomo and many other attractions. The modern look and feel of the hotel was very cool and a nice change of pace from the usual decor of Italian hotels. I would definitely stay here again if back in Milan.

“Hotel Straf - Adjacent to Duomo; Very Hip Place to Be”

Hotel Straf is uber modern, so if you don't like minimlism, this may not be for you. THe service and staff were great. The location (next to the Duomo and the Galleria) was ideal. The hotel bar is a big locals hang out after work, so it stays crowded through at least 10:00 p.m every night. The hotel provides seating for customers to take into the street (it's a dead end) which is really cool. The music is loud, but if you are staying in the hotel you can't hear it.
