Close to airportPosted Oct 4, 2014
We arrived after a long flight and drove directly to the hotel. Thankfully, we were able to book in early. The hotel was clean and modern. Both the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast were excellent. This is a top recommendation for a transit hotel.

Good valuePosted Aug 30, 2014
Nice hotel, good reception, secure parking, rooms are not big but comfortable and clean, WiFi very good. If you like to watch some TV the set is the smallest possible size and a funny shape. For a nearly new hotel this is a poor choice.

Unpleasant staff; services not as advertised.Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The on-site restaurant, Ristorante l'Oca Nera, where we had dinner was the highlight of an otherwise unpleasant stay.
Cons: Attitude of staff. Truth in advertising.
On Expedia, the hotel advertises its free shuttle service to and from Malpensa Airport, but when we arrived, we were informed that we would need to pay €20 to be picked up. If we weren’t willing to pay this sum, we were told we could simply take a cab. Ultimately, we felt we had no choice (seeing as how our stay was prepaid), so we paid. When we got to the hotel, we found the concierge talking down to another patron who was complaining about the lack of pillows in their room, with the concierge asking whether the patron had conducted a sufficiently thorough search of the room. We would have left then-and-there, but we were exhausted. When we got to our room, we found that we did have two (underwhelming) pillows to accompany a hard, uncomfortable bed. Additionally, we found that (contrary to what was advertised) there was no air-conditioning in the room. (The temp. was 24.9˚ C / 76.8˚ F.) When my wife went downstairs to complain, the hotel staff refused to accept that there was any problem and told her that we just needed to be patient and give it time to cool off. The AC (and the fan) never turned on, and in the morning it was just about as hot as it was the night before (24.2˚ C / 75.6˚ F). When we went for the underwhelming (albeit free) breakfast, the dining room was nearly empty. We had our bags with us, so I attempted to sit at a table for 4. Seeing this, the attendant and loudly snapped at me, instructing us to immediately move.

Near MalpensaPosted Aug 17, 2014
Location: acceptable restaurants for foodies nearby
Budget hotel near airport. Oleggio has some restaurants that are interesting enough for a foodie. Rooms are clean. Staff is nice. Parking is self parking in safe outdoor lot with ample space and no tight turns. Only downside is thin walls makes it easy to hear adjacent rooms-though it didn't bother my stay and I'm sure the staff would be responsive. Safe environment safe for families

Great hotel, convenient for airport travel.Posted Aug 3, 2014
We had a nice one night stay, before returning home via Malpensa Airport. The staff was very nice. We enjoyed the restaurant, especially our waiter. The room was excellent, very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom was very nice.

Rural area, nice hotelPosted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: Restaurant, comfortable rooms.
Cons: Earlier shuttle hours.
Location: Nothing near.
Was skeptical about location being that I was traveling alone and didn't have a car, but it turned out to alright. I stayed one night because of an early morning flight. Paid the extra 25 Euros for off hour shuttle since I had to leave at 4:30 am. The regular time is 5:30 am. Took about 15 minutes from hotel to airport. Missed the included breakfast because of the time but was given a nice croissant and tea. Dinner at the hotel was exceptional and priced as you would pay for fine dining.

Nice hotel, middle of nowherePosted Jul 24, 2014
Close to the airport. Close to a small town. You cycle to the small town in 15 minutes (slightly uphill). Bike provided by hotel. All in all a good experience
