The property is very convenient to buses and trams. Easy access to the Duomo and to Milan Central. Nice location. However, I do not feel it's a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was very average. Most of the food was cold. The only hot items were eggs and soggy soggy bacon. The eggs were not replaced until they were all gone in the tray. Therefore, you needed to wait a while to get fresh scrambled eggs. The pancakes are ready made and just microwaved. I understand it's an american food. Plenty of cheeses, cold meat, and cakes. We couldn't get air conditioning in our room because they were not ready to turn it on so we had to open the windows instead. We were there for 8 nights. The sheets were not changed once. A coffee mug sat on the dresser for days and the trash bin was not cleaned out. It was literally overflowing. We placed our used towels in the shower stall in the morning figuring that would be a way of getting fresh towels, but no, they actually folded the used wet towels and placed them back on the shelf. I know that because the lipstick that was on my towel that morning, was the same towel I was using that evening. When I complained about that to the front desk, I was told it's not their policy to not change the towels but it was that particular cleaning staff was at fault. Totally unsanitary and disgusting. Would not stay there again.

Reception staff was great and very helpful. The hotel and rooms were clean. Room it self was very small (way too small really..) the bathroom toilet is so small that it's hard to seat on the toilet without banging your knees. The Shower head was broken that half of the water pressure was leaking out on the bottom. Location is OK. But I wouldn't recommend the hotel

Hotel Vittoria is an old world hotel with modern touches. The Staff, All very friendly and helpful during my stay. Hotel is a little away from tourist area, but easy to get around via Tram or Bus. So not a problem. Very good ristoranti in the area to enjoy.

Really disappointing experience. Rooms were tiny (shower like being in a coffin). Described as having a bar - waited ages and finally gave up on getting a drink. Felt like a step back in time to the 1970’s. Hate giving bad reviews but travellers can get better accommodation elsewhere.

We would have liked to be able to remedy some problems and make you enjoy your holiday to the fullest; I always remember that our reception is always open 24h-24h and all the staff is at the complete disposal of the client. Location was easy access to duomo area. Hotel was immaculate condition, but there were issues. 1. Our door would shut only if you’d slam it. We came back to our room to find out door open because the room service was probably unaware that the door wouldn’t shut. 2. Internet connection was spotty and slow at times. This is our only way to communicate back home and good strong internet is a must for us. 3. We found that the gentleman serving breakfast would treat us differently almost ignoring us. He would offer coffee to everyone and almost ignore the fact that we were there. We had to almost wave him down to order coffee. We spent 4 nights there with 4 breakfast and every morning was the same treatment as we watch himnoffer other guest coffee as they came in. 5. Our room lights had issues where we would come back to the room only to find that the lights would turn on. I had to go back and forth to the check in desk for them to activate the lights. 6. The remote for the TV would only turn on the set. We had no control of volume and had to unplug the set before we went to bed so the tv would go off. We informed the desk and the gentleman there sad to just unplug the tv whenever we want to turn it off because a service person wouldn’t be able to fix it. So we had to deal with that issue for the full 4 days.

We always put the client first and we are very sorry that you did not fully enjoyed your stay. Regarding what happend: 1 we have checked that there was a problem with the door that we have now fixed 2 We have talked with all the other guests and they did not have any problem with the wi fi connection during those days; we remind you that our reception staff is availabile 24h on 24h, if you had problem we could have easily solve the issue. Sometimes the internet connection can be slowed down by antivirus, firewalls or other progrmss running in the background. 3 We talked with our staff from the breakfast room and we saw the videos during those days, we are sorry that you felt ignored but it's ok to call for the waiter when you have decided what you whant to drink, it is a common thing that restaurants or bars do (usually we give time to the clients to choose and whan they are ready to order they call the waiter). 4 As I mantioned before, the clients upon arrival in the breakfast room asked for coffees and cappuccinos. 5 and 6 We are sorry for the electic issue in the room, we have now fixed everything. We would like to let you know that we are very greatful for your review; this gives us the opportunity to improve. Not for a long stay
If you like really old fashioned Louis XIV like rooms this is the one for you, very very small rooms so you either can store your suitcase or get to the tiny wardrobe. Window was broken, so air con wasn't working (this was the case in most rooms as my colleagues who stayed there with me reported back), walls are paper thin and you can hear everything people do in the next rooms. The old and unwashed blankets are just covered in one sheet, and due to the smallness of the rooms it's not possible to clean them properly. Breakfast was good though and staff are friendly, but it's not a hotel I would stay again.

Decent hotel, but do your homework.
So overall the hotel was nice, but there were three things in particular that irked me. First, the WiFi is INCREDIBLY slow, to the point of being almost unusable. Second, they turn off the air conditioning at the end of September, so even though it’s still hot in early October all you can do is open the windows (and consequently have tons of mosquitoes fly in and bite you). And because it was so hot in the room, I raided the water in the mini bar because only McDonalds sells bottles that will fit in the mini fridge. Last, while the hotel isn’t too far from the Duomo, it’s on the east side of Milan, and a lot of things were on the west side, so the location wasn’t as convienient as I was hoping.

Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are adorable, with colorful wallpaper and drapes. They are a little small, but that’s just because it’s Europe and rooms will always be small unless you stay at a luxury hotel or a modern hotel (which would have no charm). The breakfast spread was generous, with lots of options for all tastes, and the garden area is a pleasant place to sit. The location is fairly central—only a 20-minute walk to the cathedral, and if you’d rather not walk there is a streetcar that you can take direct. Malpensa airport and Central (Train) Station are a bit far, but I had great experience with Milan taxi drivers.

Service is excellent, kind , attentive, polite, at all times, location is great, close to town but not in the middle of tourist invasion down town, clean and comfortable
