Although a little bit farther away from the train station, it is still accesible by public transport. Taxi is cheap and always available. We love the vibe of the area. Thanks to Yana for helping us out with all the useful information. Taxi came to get us in 3 mins as you have said.

The shower had mold growing trees. There isn’t a full time front desk. So getting in was very hard. The shower head was broken and because the water was cascading out the top it shot out the door and made a pond on the floor (slippery hazard) initially so I figured out around that and the room was microscopic. The photos look much larger, as through a special lense was used. In the bathroom you can basically turn around. The bedroom room was even smaller. The pictures must be old. It’s quite run down.

What a great deal! Yes, it is a bare minimum room, but for the price, that was to be expected. Jose at the front desk was super helpful with check-in, any issues, and even gave us some great tips for transport and exploring the area. Reviewers claiming he's rude just because he is more on the reserved side-- some people are quieter, some people are very friendly and talkative. Give him a chance! Hotel is in the center of the city so you'll get to see all the cool stuff within walking distance. It's loud at night; there are bars and restaurants right under the hotel. Wear your headphones or go join the party downstairs. Really cute view of a park outside our window too!

Good stay. Nice staff.
Nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Staff speak some English and I spoke some Italian so we got there. Good location. Rooms functional and clean. On the morning we were leaving there was no water to flush the toilet and the shower temperature was tepid at best. We used the shower anyway. Reported to the staff who said there was a boiler problem and were straight onto it. Hopefully done for the next people. Tip: if you search ‘Hotel XXII Marzo’ on Google or Apple Maps it takes you to a different area. Search for ‘Hotel 22 Marzo’ and you get the right place. No idea why it is listed as the former in Hotels.com

The location is great and the bed was comfortable too. The only thing I'm complaining about is when I checked in the receptionist was rude “you are late” although it says 24 hr desk!

Fantastic place to stay, perfect walk into town centre so location just right. MichaelAngelo was amazing! Incredibly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended place, only fault was the bed was too hard for my liking, but you can’t please everyone for sleeping.

Conveniently located hotel, near several shops and restaurants and only 15-20min walk to the Duomo. Breakfast has several options, more than expected from a small hotel! The staff was very polite and helpful. Will definitely come back when in Milan!

Great hotel. Good breakfast with full coffee bar. All toiletries were provided, disposable razors and shaving cream, toothbrushe and Toothpaste, disposable slippers... Location was practical with buses going to Milano Centrale and the Duomo. Walking distance to a lot of shopping and cafes. Staff was very nice and helpful! would go back for sure.

Nice simple hotel perfect for exploring from, easy access to various public transport routes giving access to all the city. Bed was comfortable but room was too hot at times. Nice breakfast and lovely hosts.

A nice little hotel with super friendly staff. There are frequent buses and trams just outside the hotel that take you to the center of Milan. The room was a good size - the bed was a bit squeaky, and the bathroom was outdated, but otherwise it was functional and clean.

Very Good!
The staff were friendly. Check-in was speedy. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was quite delicious for what it was. There are bus and tram stops right near by. Very convenient. Would definitely return!

Nice hotel when arriving at Linate
We've chosen this hotel cause it was very convenient when arriving late from Linate. It only took around 15 minutes by bus. It's not located in the city centre but it's close. We walked all the way easily there. The main road is full of life in the morning with shops opened. During the night there are some bars and restaurants around as well. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Although it wouldn't be bad for them to be refurbished as they look very old, specially the blinds that were already tearing apart. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Giving us good advice and helping us on getting a taxi to the train station — our taxi was cheaper than Uber —. On a last note, the breakfast option was correct. There weren't any hot meal options but there was good variety. Special mention to the coffee as it's not usual to see a barista instead of a coffee machine.

Nice little hotel in Milan
Staff very friendly and (thankfully for me) spoke excellent English. They really went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Room comfortable and clean. Very good bathroom with all manner of extras (from a bidet to complimentary bathroom slippers!) that you wouldn't expect from such a modestly priced hotel. Free breakfast was delicious with a very wide selection ranging from cheese and ham to pastries and flans via more traditional breakfast fare such as toast and cereals. Located away from the main road (but easily accessible from a nearby tram stop) and thus nice and quiet. All in all I was very pleased with every aspect of this little hotel with a family run atmosphere and wouldn't hesitate in staying there again.

Avoid this hotel
Location was good but that's where it stops. Totally misleading rating when we booked this hotel. The pictures of the room were not even close to reality. This is a glorified hostel at best. Almost embarrassing to think I would stay there with my wife. Conditions were very poor and the walls were paper thin. We could not sleep at all. The room furnishings could not have cost more than $100 total. How this hotel could have been rated any more than a 2 is beyond comprehension.

Stayed two nights. Easy to get to by bus from rail station and Linate. Clean well equipped room, good buffet breakfast. Excellent desk staff, gave good recommendations and directions. Overall an excellent budget hotel near to the centre.

Good hotel for the money
The hotel staff is very helpful and Michael speaks great english. Breakfast was tasty and there was a broad range. Wi-fi had a strong signal in our room. Our room was very tiny but for the price in Milan, we were happy. Walking distance to the Duomo. Really cool place neary called QC TermeMilano. It is a hot springs in roman ruins. For about $45 Euros per person, you can sit in all kinds of hot tubs and cool relaxing spaces. Great for when you first get off the flight. Also, Kabab place across Marzo 22 street is good. Hotel can be tricky to find. Look for the church. Its right next to it on the right. Look for the sign or building in my attached photos.

Absolute ideal location, easy no 73 bus ride from the Airport and the same bus to the Duomo. Although a small hotel it suited me well. Both Marchelle and Marchello were more than helpfull along with the other staff. Breakfast was more than I had expected from such a small hotel & with a 10# discount at a nearby restaurant I couldn't have asked for more. They even gave me extra ideas of where to visit along with how to get there Tec. Yes I would stay here again.

Hi This is a well located Hotel we were welcomed and made to feel at home nothing was to much trouble and The Staff provided us with a checklist for getting around the city which not only made it easier for us but saved us a bit of money. We also received a complimentary cappuchino and cake which was a nice touch. Other guests leaving also thanked staff and advised they would recommend I certainly would however we didn't have aircon and I struggle if a rooms to hot but this wouldn't stop me recommending it lovely place
