“Location”
Hotel location is good for shopping.
“Nice place small rooms”
Rooms were nice and clean, but very small. The area was decent and just a short walk to restaurants. It was a little noisy but nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel in the city. The breakfast was also very good.
“Small but Clean and Cute”
We had an overall good experience at this hotel. The rooms and elevators are small for us Americans, but nice and clean. My husband and I had to take turns walking around the room....not enough space for two to walk around the bed. The TV was suppose to have English language programs, but in our case, our BBC, kept speaking in German. When asked the desk staff, they said they would look into it.....never got the English channels.....Staff were helpful and friendly.
“stay away will never recommend this place to anyone”
totally over described , found our room extremely small , to the extent that you can't walk in the room without jumping across the bed , could not even open your luggage , extremely claustrophobic , we had to check out and change plans as we couldn't spend another night there , hotel wouldn't consider any refund for the unused night claiming that it had been paid already to expedia , furniture looks very tired , bathroom not that clean either, neighborhood you can do better , does not qualify as close to Dumo at all. in my oinion, 2 stars are way too much for it.
“Fast Hotel”
The hotel is very good and employee very atencious, the bedroom is very very small.
“Nice hotel for the price”
Good location, immediate area seems shady, but graffiti is rampent throughout Milan, must be accepted as "art". Close to Nivigli, where there are bars and restaurants with a fun atmosphere. Safer feeling than in Barcelona, where theft and pickpockets run rampent....but would still take precautions and keep valuables in your front pockets. Great city to visit!
“Pleasant neighborhood, yet easy access to city sites”
The staff was very helpful. On our first night the staff directed us to the Navigli area that was just delightful and then made a recommendation on a local restaurant to which we went twice. The access to a number of sites including a metro station that is about 7 minute walk or so away was a very pleasant bonus. The hotel is right next door to a lovely park in which I spent a few hours just reading and sitting on the bench with delightful people around. One problem, however, was our last night before leaving. A dog barking in the next room awoke us from our sleep and even though the desk was willing to move us that was not too practical when you need to get up early and get ready to depart the city. The barking persisted for about 20 minutes and then finally stopped.
“A good deal for the price”
This hotel is in walking distance of Il Duomo & La Scala & The Last Supper, but it's quite a long walk -- and it's also a long walk from a metro stop. So it was not as convenient as we had hoped, but the street it's on is a quiet one. On New Yr's Eve we could see the fireworks from our hotel room, but after 1 a.m. we were not bothered by street noise. The hotel lobby is very nice with wide screen tv and big comfy chairs & sofa. The breakfast was not included in our rate, and we thought it was rather pricey, but we had it on New Yr's Day when nothing else was open and it was quite good. The staff spoke a little English; they did not go out of their way to be helpful, but when asked, they were very obliging about things like letting us leave our bags the day we checked out but didn't have a flight out until that evening. We spent 3 nights there and were pleased with everything except the long walk to places of interest, and that wouldn't have been so bad if the weather had not been cold and rainy!
“Nice, but tiny”
We loved the area, and the hotel staff. The room was very tiny, but we felt right at home there. The staff was very good, and helpful. The restaurants in the area were good, and the duomo was in walking distance. Our room looked out over the city, which was amazing. Loved the stay and hated to leave.
“George & Janet Conway”
Hotel overall is good value and the breakfast is outstanding. It would be good if it was mentioned to future travelers how to link up with the train metro system instead of using the taxi system which is expensive and time consuming.
