Close to the central train station

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Central location. Clean.
Cons: Iron and ironing board in every room. Attach the cupboard safe to the wall
Location: Statione Centrale. Metro on the same street. 4 stops to the Duomo (€1.50)
My wife and I only stayed one night. It is a boutique hotel. Nice ambiance. Clean and well presented. Breakfast was simple and filling. The rooms are a little small if you wre staying longer. The lift only really holds one person and luggage at a time.

Hotel Napoleons, city of Milan

Ideal location. Limited range of food for breakfast. Scramnled egg made with powder, not real eggs. Room nice. Bathroom very small! Heating at night difficult to control. Reception & cleaning staff helpful. Do waitresses smile at all?

Good hotel; you get what you pay for.

Quiet rooms; you can have a good sleep. Close to train station, staff speaks several languages, breakfast is good; located near the hotel there is a local restaurant that has excellent food at decent prices (Alba D'Oro). Close to the train station, about 20 minute walk to the Duomo. If you're going for business the hotel is a very good option. The elevator was small; if you go with more than one bag you'll need to make two trips. For being Italian, the size of the rooms were ok.

Comfortable Hotel in the City Centre

Posted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Nicely decorated, friendly staff, good breakfast. Complimentary half bottle of wine was a nice touch.
Cons: Temperature in the room.
Pleasant hotel, friendly staff. My room was a little small and very stuffy - it got really quite hot overnight and I was unable to turn the temperature down - the thermostat wouldn't budge from 25°+. Located right next to the metro, so handy for work. I'm a vegan and so I really wasn't expecting to be able to eat anything from the breakfast buffet but fresh fruit salad was on offer every day along side cereals, patisserie and so on.

Business and Pleasure trip

Pros: Very nicely decorated hotel and above the average. Good job for the interior decorator.
Cons: Practical side of the room details should be improved. All the furniture have glass tops, which can be easily damaged or broken.
Location: The location is perfect and very close to Corso Buenous Aires. Perfect shopping area with many restaurants around.
The hotel is nicely decorated but most of the hotel details are very tight. Breakfast area and tables are very tight, lifts also, bathroom details etc.. Lot of focus on decoration but not the practical side of room use. Staff require more hotel professional training. Some are very helpful like the ladies and some are terrible especially the night staff. Breakfast choice is quite good and above the average when compared to other Italian hotels.

2 min walk to Metro station where you can buy 24/48 hours passes for 8.25 euros...very cheap transport system. Loads of shops on main road though watch out for cars....Italians seem to make up their own rules on how to drive!! It is sometimes best to eat main meal at lunchtime as Italians eat late and restaurants don't get busy until after 9! The people are very polite and will help you though head for a touristy spot where some speak English. A must to see is the Duomo Cathedral and also the church for 'the last supper' painting by Leonardo da Vinci (must book way in advance as always fully booked!). Navigli area lovely...great ice cream...as many flavours as you want on your cone! Very warm in September so lightweight clothing needed and maybe jumper for evening.

Very comfortable bed and pillows

I liked the hotel very much...it could have been more convenient to major sites but I wanted a hotel closer to Central Train Station so it was walkable with luggage but it was a great location for most necessities. The staff were very helpful with our needs. I would recommend especially for business travel.

Nice Hotel just off the main street.

Posted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms, decor.
Cons: More selection for breakfast.
Location: 2 minute walk to main shopping street.
I stayed at this Hotel with my wife and (2) teenage children in August and thought it was a great experience overall, the staff is amazing, the rooms are clean and spacious for Europe. The decor is very modern and the buffet breakfast is simple but good enough to start your day off right. The first thing we noticed is the wonderful smell in this Hotel there are diffusers placed throughout the main lobby and each floor. The location is great if you like to be close enough to the main street but not right in the middle of heavy traffic.
