Excellent city hotel

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Hotel is all you would expect from a business/leisure hotel and great value for Milan. Nice touch of free mini bar with soft drinks very welcome on ar
Cons: No
Location: Don't miss Milan Central Rail Station an impressive building & extensive retail on your door step.
Great hotel about 200 metres from Milan Central station if you use the correct exit & ignore Google directions. Follow signs for main taxi ranks & you can see the hotel across the street. Four stops from Duomo on Metro yellow line euro 1.50 single for downtown shopping etc..

Very nice hotel next to Milano Central station. You can walk to the hotel very easily with your baggage from the central station. The hotel staffs are very professional, the facilities are excellent, breakfast also wonderful. It's in business area, but you can go to sight seeing spots, shopping are by Metro, to the airport by Malpensa express train or shuttle bus.

Nice hotel close to the station

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Cons: AC system operation.
Across the street from the train station ergo easy access from the Central station. Hotel offers large rooms even for 3 people. Slightly older property but the rooms and bathrooms are clean and maintained. BEds were very comfortable. Breakfast was okay except for the runny scrambled eggs. Though we had booked an additional day room due to late evening checkout(8 PM), staff suggested that they would have offered one at half price given they get frequent requests for the same. We could not cancel ours as it was prepaid. That was very kind of them to offer never the less. Wifi works great when we got it functional(got to keep the TV on). Getting the AC to run was a challenge for reasons I could not understand. Keys to one of our rooms would not work and we had to use the floor staff to help every time to get the door opened. Room 714.

Cons: rooms are a bit dated , need refreshing.
Location: great position , 100 metres from central railway station and bus transfer to airport .
went on a 3 day city break , incredible cathedral, a tour of the San Siro a must if you're a footy fan . A trip to Lake Como is only an hour away and very fast transfer boats .

Handy for all transport links to city and airport

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Location,Location, Location was brilliant for train , metro ,trams and buses which we used them all .
Cons: Could do with updating , but I liked the Retro look
Location: The shopping district is 4 stops on the Metro , is across the road from the hotel and a day pass from most shops is 5 Euros for all day on trams too
My wife and I flew into Milan Linate (city airport)for a 3 night break , we had just missed the bus (5Euros each ) so we got a cab from outside the terminal , Driver found the hotel next to Central station no problem and cost 13 Euros , they have a taxi drop off right outside the door , so if you have heavy luggage the doorman is there to help. The receptionist was really pleasant and spoke perfect English , which was really handy after my initial Borgorno!! We were offered assistance with our bags even though there was a lift . The front desk staff were very helpful and even managed to book us a restaurant , that was fully booked !! after a small amount of persuasion from reception. The room 410 was fairly small but had lots of storage and some comp water and pepsi in the fridge which is always nice , no tea and coffee facilities , but was available from room service for a few euros. The black out blinds were excellent as we stayed over the summer solstice and daybreak was ,Oh my goodness 0430. Breakfast is from 630 to 1030 with a good selection of continental pastries, muesli, fruit ,cheese and meats etc There some noodles and rice dishes with meat in mushroom sauce and fish , which I feel is a bit strange for brecky but our Asian friends seemed to dig in to all on offer , Coffee was simply fantastic , we must of tried coffee every different way possible over our 3 breakfasts and never disappointed. One small criticism would be The scrambled egg which was watery.

Great location for transport

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: Location. Security. Room quality and service.
3 day Milan break. Perfect location for the buses from the airports. Hotel is just over the road. Felt very secure as I was travelling alone with my teenage son. Rooms had everything you need. Room safe, free snacks and soft drinks, turndown service, free Wifi, robes, slippers, robe space etc. Would stay again and recommend to friends. Buffet breakfast we tried once. Not really to our taste but then nowhere beats a Full English.

Good Location, Easy Access to the City

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: The location was excellent
Cons: The room furnishings need to be improved and lighting, its too dull
Location: Massage parlour, ice cream, macdonald, italian food, turkish halal food, money changer, train station, taxi stand all close to the hotel.
Stayed with family and found the location good with taxi stand as well as train station just at couple of minutes walk. There are many eating places close by and also a massage parlour to service you after a good days walk. However, room furnishing are not 4 star standard and need to be improved but bathroom was quite decent. Also expedia surveys rated breakfast as good, we would rate it below average.

Handy to Milano Centrale Station.

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: Convenience, quiet, clean
Location: I didn't have time to do anything else on this trip.
A business hotel, across street from Milan Central Train Station, so you save time and expense of transportation to & from hotel. Great for next day connection to airport. Nice breakfast, free wi-fi, quiet, clean, pleasant. Could probably get cheaper further away from Station, so paying for convenience.
