Fair priced hotel for a big cityPosted Jul 11, 2014
Clean, friendly hotel. Enjoyable stay. On the outskirts of Milan, so will need a hired car to travel more in land. Technically, this 'hotel' are apartments, so no maid service in between stay. Good for a couple of days stay, but with no fresh towels etc. If your planning on staying more than 3 days, maybe this 'hotel' isn't the most appropriate.

Nice hotel and good pricePosted Jul 4, 2014
really nice hotel, we did not expect it to be that clean and beautiful. newly renovated and it looks like it. for the price, it's a no-brainer : close to a tramway line that goes directly to Duomo

Quiet and large rooms.Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Spacious and quiet.
Cons: Kettle, tea and coffee perhaps.
Location: Just out of the historic centre. Got to know the tram system.
Large modern rooms and big bathroom - a small apartment style. Quiet location quite close to the tram line into the city. Staff were helpful and the lift was good. Once we had worked out the aircon system, we relaxed into it. Wifi worked.

Nice but not easy to find outPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Big space
hotel was very nice and comfortable, but location is really tough to find out. This is actually vacation home type of hotel. Location is in residential area. Taxi driver even didn't know the location.

Nothing to write home about.Posted May 17, 2014
Cons: lots of things, see above.
Location: It is within walking distance (25min) from the Milan Convention Centre.
Hotel is located in residential area, at the end of a street. A little bit difficult to find because of the construction on another street. The only reason I booked this hotel is that it was relatively close to the area I had to go for business. Also I was really busy and spent minimal amount of time in the hotel. Here are the things I am not thrilled about: - I made reservation two months ahead for six nights, then my plans changed (one and a half month ahead of the trip) and I decided to shorted my stay by one day. It took several hours on the phone with expedia trying to communicate with the hotel manager to do that. - Bathroom fixtures are falling apart - I wanted to take shower head, and the whole fixture fell of the wall - it was not properly fixed, i pushed it back in place and avoided touching again. - Room cleaning, garbage removal and changing towels cost extra. So, don't put anything in the trash bin, if staying for a few days - nobody will clean them. - It is located close to the railroad tracks, so you can hear trains moving at night - One time I woke up at night and went to the bathroom and found a huge cockroach on the wall

Nice hotel for the pricePosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: The location seemed a bit dodgy at first but it was fine and the tram took you directly downtown.
Cons: A bit more kitchen utensils, i.e. a can opener
Location: The hotel is in a residential part of Milan. There's a supermarket near by that stayed open until 9:00 pm and carries a nice assortment of wine
The Residenza Cenisio is not a conventional hotel -- it's a long-term residence facility. Our suite with a kitchenette was large, with a separate living room with dining and kitchen area, sleeping room and bathroom. The furnishing were modern and there was a lot of storage space for luggage and clothing. During our 7-day stay the hotel changed our towels twice and empty the trash in the kitchen and bathroom - which was sufficient. The best thing was the shower (small) but the water pressure was GREAT and the temperature was HOT! I have food allergies so the kitchenette was a must. The electric stove and oven worked great, the refrigerator and freezer were large and new. There was also a washing machine but I did not use it.

Spacious hotel roomPosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: Clean and good security. It has parking facilities if you hire a car.
Cons: There was a taxi strike when I was there, and no one at the desk told me about it the day before, and they offered no help to work the problem out.
Location: Location is difficult for the metro, but fine if you can do the trams and buses. It backs onto railway lines.
It was fine for me, but I was using taxis a lot to get anywhere that I needed to go for work. I was not on a holiday. I only fault not telling me about the taxi strike until I asked for one, and then not helping me to sort the problem out.

Nice locationPosted Jan 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
I read in the other comments that the rails were really close to the hotel. Actually they are REALLY close. I also read that the trains traffic was almost zero when it comes to night, and it was also true. You are not disturbed by the trains when you need to get some sleep. Two small things: the wifi was not working at all, which was a real shame (I had to tether my phone which kind of ruined my company!) but the technician was supposed to come the day after I left, so hopefully this problem will be solve. Second, the door, even if it's a big door, is NOT isolated at all. I could hear people talking and chatting over the phone as if they were just next to me. But people don't live in the corridor, so they left quite quickly. It is really not far from the center (2 minutes walk to get the tram, lots of trams (line 12 and 14) going to the center and there's also a good pizzeria a few blocks away, try it :). If I were to stay there again, well I'd say yes without thinking twice!

Not worth itPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The apartment was okay but felt a bit sparse and cold (and damp). It's not very conveniently located, about a 10 minute walk from the #14 tram line, which is 10-15 minute ride from downtown. The neighbourhood looks pretty rough, lots of graffiti, but there's nothing to really worry about. The bad part is the apartments back onto a train yard and trains will keep you up late and wake you up early. The bed was okay but not overly comfortable. It wasn't awful but we wouldn't stay there again.

5 nightsPosted Nov 4, 2013
Stayed 5 nights there, booked easily through expedia , but their negatives are more than their positives; Good: You will find a room, not crowded Negatives: Hard to find Ac was not functioning properly Staff could barely speak english No one to clean the rooms Itneeds more attention & care. Thanx
