A stylish and central hotelPosted Sep 28, 2014
This hotel is tucked away above a stylish high end shopping mall and is ideally located if you are visiting Teatro La Scala. The hotel has unusual features with Reception on the 2nd level and keycodes instead of keys. (It feels a bit insecure having to enter a keycode in a shared lift, knowing that the same code opens the door to your room.) The rooms are very stylish but the low lighting and hard seat makes working on a laptop or doing your makeup at the dressing table rather difficult.

Disappointing stayPosted Mar 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is accessed through a courtyard lift behind the galleria. It tries to emulate a trendy boutique hotel but misses the mark by a million miles. The only good thing about it was the location and the nespresso machine in the room. Negatives were as follows: no turn down service, building work going on throughout the day in the courtyard, no gym, no business facilities (not even a PC with access to the web), room in a poor state of repair (rotten floorboards by the shower, light fixtures hanging out of the ceiling, evidence of water leaks in the roof, dirty furniture. I won't be staying there a again.

Excellent localizationPosted Oct 21, 2013
The hotel is very good! The localization is fantastic! In the Vitorio Emanuelle Gallery and Duomo. We have problems with the air conditioning, but its not a big problem.

Fantastic mini-break hotelPosted Oct 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
First time staying in Milan and despite the weather being downpours for the whole of our stay, it was thoroughly enjoyable. We stayed in the annex building which is one of the more affordable rooms and about a minute walk through the galleria away from the hotel. It is a number keypad entrance (too fancy for keys here!) so it was very secure and much easier to gain access to than the main hotel as we didn't have to get a lift. Hotel room was fantastic, very modern, comfortable and really clean with all mod-cons and Sky TV. Staff were very friendly and eager to help. The hotel and annex are situated literally in the heart of Milan so everything is right on your doorstep. Would definitely stay here again, planning our next break already!

In Domo AreaPosted Sep 28, 2013
Pros: very centric
Cons: High Price. Not really a hotel, maybe a studio apartment will be a better description.
Location: Very centric, close to Domo Area. Many things to do.
Great hotel, with high price tag. We stayed in an apartment building close to the hotel.

Cool blue lights!Posted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location was dynamite! It was inside the ultra-cool indoor mall Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the world's oldest shopping center. The room had murals depicting old time Milan for wallpaper and the yellows and the blue lights gave it a certain glow. It was one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. DO have breakfast in the restaurant-it'll be expensive but the decor is lovely and it overlooks the inside of the mall and the food is excellent.. It's not cheap but if you enjoy high end this hotel is not to missed!

In the center of Milan.Posted Aug 20, 2013
Cons: Staff could talk a little more English.
Location: The location is the best thing. You are in the center, everything you want to see is within 10 minutes walking.
There is a little confusion when you arrive, there is no visible reception and you have to find someone from the staff. Sniff around the elevator. The office and the rooms are two blocks away from each other. There is no legal parking on the street even for the time when you try to find reception. The closest public parking is on Piazza Meda, cost over 30 Euros for us for 1 1/2 days. The hotel would charge 75 euros per day! and they did not tell where they would take your car. Piazza Meda is 1 block away from the rooms (very very close, after you went around the building). Breakfast at the hotel is 32 Euros per person! We did not use it there are plenty of cafeterias, restaurants around. The rooms are little strange but clean, with 2 TVs, the second in an absolutely unusable room for us. AC is quite.

Annex is not at main location, but still nearbyPosted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked an annex room, which does not have examples in the hotel pictures and is not part of the main hotel. The room was in a different building and was more similar to apartment living than a hotel stay. Although the room was nice and modern, there are some differences than what is pictured on the website, and it felt more like the orphan rooms than a serviced part of the hotel (we only saw the staff on check-in and check-out, for example, and with 3 people in the room we ran out of hot water for showers). The location is still pretty sweet, right next to Luini's.
